The game actually explains that; Adachi confessed to the murders because the heroes guilt-tripped him after the battle, and he realized his killing innocent people was wrong.

the only reason they could arrest that weird kid is because he killed King Moron

and placed his body in a similar way to the other murders so they would assume

he killed the others since they can find no other leads to who the murderer is.

@TokyoKreet Actually, now with the inclusion of the time sensitive P4U-Mayonaka Arena they would have enough evidence to Send Adachi to jail, because they can go back into the TV world, thus proving he's guilty through simulation and evidence.

@TokyoKreet They Technically due. Remember, teddie is broadcasting the P-1 Grand Prix and the winner of every fight is pressed for questions by the Media. So Technically everyone knows about Persona and Shadows now. And that kinda makes sense, seing as how even Dojima knows about Adachi's "Confession" about the TV world, so not much could've been done to prevent them telling. I mean this is Dojima we're talking about. No one can lie to him, especially if he brings out Nanako.

What would Adachi do during his arc? He didn't do much during the game,just kill a couple of girls and watch Nametame and the crew dance to his plans.Just curious as to how that kind of extension would work

Damn, playing as Adachi would be epic. You wouldn't get the freedom to choose like the other protagonists, so it'd play much more like The Answer as he descends into madness... damn that'd be good.
