Skoda Superb UK drive - cool boot!

If i want fun in Superb i would go for 3,6l engine which is more than fun. If i want economy i cant drive with "fun" but responsibly.

dont get the appeal of this car it looks like a boat on wheels, there are far more cars i would spend my hard earned cash on than this also they are used by Taxi drivers, there is no way i am gonna buy a car that is widely used as a Taxi. I would happily spend my money on a new Accord , Audi , I prefer a little more exclusivey.. also Skoda drivers dont half go on about there cars & say thing like" Just the same as a Passat or an Audi" if thats the case why didnt you buy a Passat or an Audi.

Each tag must be followed by the Volkswagen Group corporate strategy and therefore can never go Superb technically against the Passat. Suberb II, but on the open market, fighting for themselves and nobody knows why it is more successful than the standard Passat car. One thing is certain - it is a pleasure to drive 3.6 V6 4x4. Excellent chassis and brakes. Very sturdy and safe car.

Not as good as a Mondeo? What a load of crap! It's better cos I've tried both. Bought a 170 HP CR Superb and its been great. Bit of a sleeper in some ways. Experience with my Octavia's 90000 trouble free miles and my son's Mondeos and their dodgy suspension bushes etc convinced me to ignore the badge again.

I'm really starting to like Skoda's. I saw a white Skoda Octavia vRS the other day and it was beautiful. If only Skoda didn't have such a bad image from the old days I would consider buying one.

Exactly. We will see in about 5 years if the Superb is 'not as good as a Mondeo'. Fords have lots of trouble with their electronics, and I'm not convinced of their overall quality. We'll just see...
