I've constructed a bola of my own, though I haven't had the opportunity to practice with it, most because it's hard to find a place in my area where I can try it out without having to worry about accidentally breaking somebody's window or injuring someone with it (I'd rather not get sued or arrested).

Anyone have any suggestions?

for mine i took three large bouncy balls, drilled all the way through all three, and connected them with paracord. They work great! anyone should try this method if you want a NON LETHAL way to make them.

dude you threw them wrong well not exactly wrong but the better more effective way is holding on tennis ball and swing the other two over head

@numerator77 Yeah, thats another way you can throw it. But I find this method really opens up more.

This is great and if you really want to make a ore impact one hotglue or anything that will plug the bottom of the balle and pour something that will solidify inside like more glue for slightly more weight and impact, for example smaller pebbeles and stones inside the tennis ball then adding glue will increase the weight and increase the distance. if u really want to hurt and stop someone concreates always good lol

@theflyingpen Yep. Thats exactly what I did. I filled up the tennis balls with some small rocks. The range increases alot.

I made the kinda same weapon, just a little change. I drilled like 1 CM into a golf ball and putted spikes in them. I tell you, thats killing!

yer i made one from 3 golf balls and drilled a hole throw them all straight throw then tire nyon throw it or get a shoe lase and put soem nut or heavy buterfly clips on it to way it down then tie it off
