  • I could buy Mario Rad Race and Tetris for like 15 bucks.

  • sell it to AVGN

  • @ThXxgecko It sells for a lot more than that.

  • I saw this game for sale in Funcoland circa 199X, can't remember the exact year, for like $60. I was like why would I buy a used NES game for more than a brand new SNES game?! *face palm* I had bought Nosferatu instead grrr

  • i got the gold version at a thrift store for next to nothing, in great shape. no it is not for sale until 2015.

  • I have 2 of these carts.

  • the nerd was right.. it's definitly and DEFINITLY not worth spending so much money on this.. c'mon serious? a nes game? =/ And think of it.. You could also just buy the the real games.. And then have the full versions.. people who spend that much money on this game.. Definitly don't have a life! I'm sorry to say so..

  • I would buy one, then smash it :3

  • there exist only 119 of this! one for 15,000!

  • @mariomario761

This copy explicitly says it's number 240...

  • there is one on ebay now for $14,000

  • @crazywhiteboytv he destroyed top gun and zelda he just put a fake logo over it

  • I dream of finding one of these in a charity shop some day.

But I've not seen NES games sold ANYWHERE for years now. It's quite sad.

  • The gold one is worth 21grand at maxed!

  • Were you in the competition? You're very good at this.

  • I am ashamed at AVGN for doing such a crime to not just one but 2 of these Grey and GOLD!!!!!

  • @crazywhiteboytv obv. it was fake

  • @nextlevelvideogames aww u sound so sad :(

  • hey man, i am sorry for your lost, but hey you get a hause good !

  • moving on.... a little bit! (finally moving out of my parents house!)

  • Can u ball park the price that u sold it for?

  • @jmdogful I'd prefer not to go too much into detail out of respect for the buyer, but it was a fair price two years ago. Obviously it sells for a good bit more today.

  • @nextlevelvideogames I know how rare that thing can be. Hope you got your house.

  • @eugenespeed Thank you. It was the first step towards that goal and I am happy to say I did end up getting the house. :)

  • @nextlevelvideogames where can you get this

  • How the hell did you get this in the first place?

  • @DarkSphinxx The same way the person got it from me...bought it off another collector.

  • Oh, andI suppose you weren't up toyour A game at Tetris... I'd say you probably wouldn't have been one of th people to actually get this game in the competition ;)

  • Boy, avgn would be proud when he reviews this!

  • @97videogamenerd I sold it over two years ago

  • NWC 1990 > house

    what were you thinking?!?

  • @Cammie010 I was thinking of wanting a place to store the rest of my collection ;)

  • WOW...

  • i watched it because of the AVGN and Pat. lol

  • how much does a grey one cost and howmuch a gold one

  • AVGN took me here.

  • This is the gray version. The Gold version today is being sold for $10,000+

  • @TheXxgecko recent i have seen was $25,746 sold to some one in China

  • @LurkinWilli what?

  • @TheXxgecko fuck! that has to be some rich, lucky motherfucker

  • how much you pay for it?

  • do ya think he will let you play it again

  • Can i just ask how did you get it?

  • @theretrogamerno1 I bought it from a collector friend of mine and then in turn sold it to another collector

  • @nextlevelvideogames Thanks and one more thing is it a repro or the real thing it looks real.

  • @theretrogamerno1 It's the real deal

  • @nextlevelvideogames ok thanks a bunch

  • you are so lucky in Tetris

  • This game is now worth $6,500. I hope when you sold it, you got that much!

  • arent these designed to run PERFECTLY? only a few games had a crazy amount of quality control.

  • you just got richer

  • Read about the guy who bought the Nintendo World Championships 1990 GOLD (!!!!!!!!!) Version.

    He is an real jackass.

  • And I thought I was good at Tetris! I thought you were goint to be dead in the middle of the Tetris!

  • yes cause its very rare cause thers only 29 of them made O...O

  • I don't see why it's so expensive. Is it because it's rare? Or something else?

  • how much did you get for it?

    if you don't mind answering

  • it cost 6000$!

  • did you play the game in a lcd or crt?

  • @Federico84 lcd

  • wait, is that game expensive? I have that game, I have only passed to the city nigh lvl.

  • What are the dip switches for?

  • @lemonrind they are used to set the different time limits you can have on the game

  • oh shit, isnt this like one of the most expensive games ever?!?!?

  • WOW YOU ARE REALLY GOOD PLAYING THIS GAMES ;)

  • who did u sell it to

  • @kg9800 Another collector...I won't say specifically.

  • is this a reproduction, or is it the ''real deal''?

  • @Top10maniac real deal...but I sold it over a year ago

  • How much would it be worth?

  • its listed online between 15-21K

  • @GuireGod Grey: 10k Gold:20k

  • I Actually Have The Gold Edition Of This Its Worth 20,000$

  • me too

  • @marcitocosta bull, this is the rarest NES game there is, I strongly doubt that you have it.

  • i have it also.!

  • @TibialisPosterior sure. whatever you say.....

  • Were you messing around in the Tetris part?

  • how did you play the game and show the cart for us..I never saw you put the cart in...do you own 2?

  • The cart was in my toploading famicom (w/ US adapter) already turned on. I only had 1 cart...but now it is sold.

  • what makes this game so expensive?

  • The cart is expensive cause it was used in a national championship that Nintendo ran. They only made so many of them and it was never for sale to the public. Search the web for more info on the subject.

  • there were only 23 Games of nintendo world championshop (gold Edition) there were120 of black and white edition

  • Thanks...yeah, never seem to have an issue with Tetris and then I play in front of a camera. If I was in the actually championship back in the day I probably would have choked ;)

  • its worth 4 grand

  • where did you buy it and when

  • I bought it from a friend who is also a collector a few years back.

  • wow man that is insane on how you were able to get your hands on this game. you friend had to be completely happy in this investment no matter how much you charged him.

  • do u know where i could buy a copy?

  • i wish i had that awesome game ^^ *dreaming* ^^

  • i read this game is worth 6,000euro, or 10,000, not sure

  • 4 grand american

  • If you don't mind me asking, how did you end up with this (now sold) copy?

  • new soku kara kima suta

  • Wow, that's an awesome piece to a collection sucks you need to sell it but that's life I guess >_>.

  • i forgot to ask if you bought this from someone or if u yourself was in the world championships?

  • I did buy it from another collector who is a friend of mine. Never played in the championships myself...although I was at one of the local circuits for it when it stopped in Philly.

  • wow i know someday i will find a gold cart in a flea market someday. Were you sad to see this go or thought the time was right?

  • A little of both. I really had to think about selling it or not...but too many factors were there to make my decision a yes. I will miss it a little, but it helps me start one of my life's goals and it went to a friend so I can't complain :)

  • Now that you no longer own this game, what do you consider to be the holy grail of your collection?

  • Good question. Personally I wouldn't really consider anything else I have a "grail". While I do have some other valuable items (no where near as the NWC of course), I don't really put them in the same league. If we are talking about current value to determine a "grail" then I guess my complete Earthbound would be next, but it just doesn't feel the same.

  • This is fantastic. A real holy grail among video games. Let us know how much you actually get for it!

    ~Spencer

  • Whoop, sorry, commented before I read the description! :X

  • Do you have a buyer lined up or is being auctioned off?

  • It's already sold to a friend of mine.

  • Damn thats worth a fortune
