The cart is expensive cause it was used in a national championship that Nintendo ran. They only made so many of them and it was never for sale to the public. Search the web for more info on the subject.

A little of both. I really had to think about selling it or not...but too many factors were there to make my decision a yes. I will miss it a little, but it helps me start one of my life's goals and it went to a friend so I can't complain :)

Good question. Personally I wouldn't really consider anything else I have a "grail". While I do have some other valuable items (no where near as the NWC of course), I don't really put them in the same league. If we are talking about current value to determine a "grail" then I guess my complete Earthbound would be next, but it just doesn't feel the same.
