  • This is a wonderful birthday present!! never heard this before and more is the many this girl will my penny purchase perhaps with embrace upon the words of this song is the journey it is enticing me on and only where if were up to miss chiff on there would I lay down and cry for this day to go on forever so long, bye bye, you nearly made my eye shed a tear, though I'm lovin' the fear that foremost butters burning brown toast!!

  • i have put on this number because it's cold inside this room and i needed something to warm me .

  • Lovely stylish singing.TY amce7946 for posting.

  • La voz divina.

  • WOW!!!!

  • So sexy. Oh my god.

  • I always think of The Bandwagon when I hear this!

  • mmmm...let me see 1 person doesn't like nights nor music...

  • What superb voice! A proper classic jazz voice, and sooooo smoooooooth. B¬)

  • Julie měla nádherný samet'ák:)

  • How a nice! gently voice.

    I feel great!

  • Great song. Great singer. What more could one want? Oh, yeah, time for a nice vodka tonic!!

  • Its just perfect. Late night listening. Modern versions are just no where near as good.

  • its midnight and im listening to one of the greats love to hear the lady sing

  • Love it!

  • This is fabulous, so sultry. Also You and the Night and the Music is a song from my favourite films 'I capture the Castle', an adaptation of Dodie Smith's modern classic. Jazz deserves a revival, it tends to have a moody, atmospheric quality.

  • 素晴らしいですねえ!

『Julie London - You And The Night And The Music 』がネットで聴けるなんて素晴らしい世の中になりましたねえ。

  • What a fantastic woman. Where's my cigarette and my fishnet over my eyes.

  • No vocal tricks; just talent.

  • what a woman, what a voice

  • I grew up watching Emergency and I was amazed how my parents knew both Julie London and Bobby Troupe were talented musicians. I thought they were just actors.Julie and Bobby were married in real life and Jack "just the facts ma'am" Webb produced Emergency was Julies' ex husband!!! I bet that was an interesting wok place!!!!

  • I can't believe this is the same movie star who played the nurse on ER-how could I have missed this? To be in love with an era gone, oh the poetry of it all.....

    sunaj

  • @sunaJH Emergency, not ER!

  • @sunaJH

  • Oh man!! I was born way to late in time. This is so so sweeeet!

  • very sweet voice indeed, I love the way she just floats over the swinging vibe and occassionally dips into it for effect. Very sensual singing....class.

  • Love the brassy big band along with her elegant voice.

  • very smooth hot song and great band

  • Oh GOD! Why DON'T I HAVE THIS VOICE ? I love Miss London. She is a kind of singer that doesn't exist anymore. Gorgeous voice, natural vocal abylities without using eletronics tools to improve the voice as we see today....and class, to much class. Bravo Ms London !

  • @IpanemaNative : I agree wholeheartedly. All of today's tech-tricks aren't helping modern musicians and vocalists one jot!

  • I love this song....

  • definitely my Favorite Version! Thnx!

  • She's underrated, I think, maybe because of her astonishing looks.

  • @defundthewar

    I agree.

  • very well said

  • Amazing! I'm so in love with her voice!

What a lady! Beautiful, elegant and dynamic!!!!

  • on wich cd can I find this her song?

  • love it! singing can be the most effective without rsorting to yelling or performing vocal somersaults

  • vocal somersaults is a much nicer description than I'd give em!!

  • good girl x

  • Beautiful song; beautiful lady!!!!!

  • It is completely unfair that one person can be so gorgeous and have a voice to match!!! Very difficult song to sing on key and Julie nails it.

  • Haha, I was thinking that too!

I absolutely LOVE this song (:

  • T_T

    i'm crying.this is such a beautiful vOice!

  • This is a very difficult key to sing in, yet Julie London nails it, as always. Great rendition. Thanks for posting.
