  • If You Don't Get At Least An A Quadruple Plus I Will Personally Come To Your School And Implore That Your Teacher Make A Better More Interesting Video. I Guarantee He Or She Will Be Incapable Of Doing So. Very Well Done Dood.

    Love,

    Charles.

  • very creative!

  • pritty good but the speed of light is 40,236,997,752 MPH not 670,616,626 MPH.

  • You should double-check your math.

  • LOL stupid speed of light is 675000000 mph

  • Actually no it isn't... Speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, or 11,160,000 per minute, or 669,600,000 miles per hour... Simple math really, 186,000x60x60=669,600,000... And technically, these numbers only apply in the vacuum of space.

  • Just for others to know vulture97 is wrong, the kid got it right. 40 billion is an insane amount of distance. The sun is 92 million miles from earth and light takes 8 minutes to reach Earth from the sun.

  • how old is he?

  • 6th grade, 11-12 years

  • I'm not sure I needed to watch this to learn anything, but its really well done. Very good way to teach children something useful.

  • nice job 5/5 keep making more :))

  • Good job hope you got a good grade

  • are parents suppose to help in this project?

  • are parents suppose to be helping in this project ?

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!1!!!!!!:D

  • How long did it take you to make this video?

and Was this project 1st place?

  • About half a Saturday and few evenings after dinner.

  • This is really well done and it informed me clearly on thunderstorms. Hope you get a good grade because it was amazing!

  • nw that's what u call a genius

  • nw that's sum 1 u cud actually call a genius kid. well done kid.

  • nice

  • I´m 12 and what is this?

  • now that's creativity at it's best.

    ---good job kid

  • This was awesome

  • All I can say is "Cool!"

  • I want a dad that helps me with stuff like that.. o crap, I'm too old :(

  • :-)) ME TOO!

  • Children are more advanced these days.

    When i was in 6th grade.........hell i cant remember!!!!!!

  • hope u got an A+ on this,

  • awesome video kid! i cudnt do that now lol

  • ok if a 6th grader can make this stop motion then they must be a genius im pretty sure his mom or dad did the stop motion and he just narrated

  • I can make stop motions and i'm also 12 years old.

  • AWESOME

  • Wow, good to see some effort going into it. Well thought out and well narrated!

  • LMAO if lightning hit you, catching fire is the least thing you'd have to worry about.

  • Please tell me you got a A+?

  • this is an epic win. Great job.

  • He needs to read the paper better

  • GOOD JOB MAN!!!!! Great animation.

  • good job

  • wow that was awesome now i know my abc's

  • bill died :(

  • Wicked !!!

  • good job kid

  • looks awesome doood.

  • Great project! I don't think I could've done something like that when i was in 6th grade! Hope he got an A!

  • this was very well done! fun to watch and very informative. it keeps your attention and teaches at the same time.

  • very good effort and somthing creative ..well done

  • very talented!! love it!! : D

i wish someone would have thought of this when i was younger! it would have made learning this stuff so much more fun and easier! lol : D

  • Wow!! that is amazing i wish my projects were that good you got a genious on your hands

  • Great job Aidan. Also great to see mom and dad helping out--so important to the learning process. And for all who complain about the parents making this film: they are credited appropriately! Way to go, all.

  • Not what I was originally looking for But thi swas fantastic. I loved the LEGO idea. And I wouldn't call it torture. I would call it a very creative use of available items to get a point across without actually being struck by lightning. And the easiest way to convert the speed of light to MPH is to take the accepted speed of light = 186,355 and multiply it by 60 (seconds) then multiply it again by 60 (minutes) for a total of 670,878,000 MPH. Hope this helps and again great job.

  • wow, impressive, you should be proud of your son.

  • What grade did he make, i thing he made an A+

  • Your son is very talented.

  • Great job! This is an awesome video!

  • I can tell a lot of effort went into this project. I've always wished my projects would come out this good. Ah, procrastination. Nice work!

  • what the hell was that

  • I wish they would show this in my college earth science class. I would learn more from this than they typical 50-slide powerpoint.

  • Well, I'm sure your instrtr/prof's presentaion is more thorough.

  • awesome!!!!!

  • Such a nice job. I like it

  • Very good and educational!!

  • This is so good!!! Great job :)

  • That was great.

  • Luv it!!! my son who is autistic loves this video and will watch it several times a day I hope he post more vids!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Your comment makes worth sifting out all the bone headed comments.

  • Autistic children aren't a thing to be ashamed of. :) My friend was autistic but he could solve really hard math problems in 10 seconds when others took 3 minutes.

  • 500xrebirth, ditaj4444 doesn't seemed ashamed to me, but thanks for your input.

  • extremely creative..nice work :D

  • this is great. deserves an A!!!!..funny and extremely original. i know its random, but i'd like to see the blooper real for this, i like when the firefighter puts out the fire on his head at the end,

  • Um. There isn't any real blooper reel in animation. Everything is planned as carefully as possible in order to avoid extra work. The "bloopers" that you see at the end of movies such as Toy Story are all scripted. Why? Because it's funny. And, that is the genius of Pixar Studios. Aidan has no plans at this time to make a "blooper" reel, although it's a real good idea.

  • your son did a great job. :D

  • That is great

  • that was cool. hope he got an A on that. lol

  • Not only educative, is also creative and funny...

Now you can make a whole line of educating videos :P with this LEGO idea

  • that is vary createv!

  • bill got tortured... alot ^_^

  • I would love to learn how to do that :D My name is Ben, too! Funny :D What did he use to make that? My friend uses this $200 camera with all these special functions. Did he just use a regular camera? Like in StopMotions?

  • A digital point and shoot camera.

  • @benferrer1 (22 hours ago)

So did he just take the pictures and put them on the computer? And just let it run? If he did what program?

  • Kinda. I think there's an explianation earlier in the comments. I'll try to post details sometime when I have time.
