@ryanvertz20 oh man i got it a long time ago.....they dont make them anymore, you'd probably have to get a used one off ebay.....the newer one (as far as i know) is the korg M3 which is very similar if not better

MPC1000 has a line in for recording. Do you have a phono pre amp hooked up to your turntable? You lose audio signal if you don't use one

as far as any style of music, look for anything......dont just stick to old soul records like a lot of people do......theres a lot of good samples in other genres of music.....movie scores, indian music, anime music, spanish music......i mean everything

you would need the interface that comes with pro tools.....usually an mbox or digi002 or 003.....but you would have to solo each track on the TR and record each one individually onto pro tools, then youd be able to edit it there

yea can can sample with that, you just gotta have a program that lets you.....like recycle with reason or FL studio....as far as finding samples, its all on you man, theres no certain place to find them.....you just gotta dig, go to record stores, parents' old music, thrift stores, internet.....anywhere
