@arby321, I'll ask my mother for you tomorrow, she's a canine behaviourist/psychologist, I don't think its anything to worry about though, my own dog didn't bark until he was about 7 years old, he had a cruel previous owner though, but I'll ask and come back..

@arby321, I asked, and she said it could that there's no stimulation for the dog as in socializing with other dogs, or it could be that the dogs unsure and confidence is an issue, there's many possibilities why its not barking.. like being hard-of-hearing for an example. if your dogs of a nervous disposition, you could exercise the principles of the Tellington-Touch. but if your dogs happy.. its doesn't really matter. No need to thank me.. you just keep quiet.

@arby321 Don't question and count your lucky stars, hehe. My Doxie didn't bark for the first 3 or 4 months I had her now 2 yrs later she doesn 't shut up, lol.  She's my girl though :o)
