Okay i somewhat agree with you with april but i find the fugitoid to be one of the best characters so far. I remember seeing him in the old comics and he was always one of my favorites i was glad he was in the 2003 show but i always thought he should be in a game. Lol but one character which i really want is leatherhead.

And April was originally a programmer working for Baxter, who was originally black, and becomes a robot.
Baxter becomes a robot. This is also shown in the 2003 cartoon, which was oddly more similar to the comic for the most part.
The game actually has comics to tell the story in Arcade mode (drawn by the creators). It's a weird attempt to hit all of the fanbases, though there's a lack of the 87 cartoon.
On the plus side, the Technodrome is in the background of one of the stages.
In a recent developer video, the game seems to be running faster than the vignette videos show. Also, less 'aura'.

Not all the characters are confirmed and the've promised to use characters from different versions of the franchise.
Using the logo of the mainstream 80's version would be deceptive if they were going to overlook the first cartoon. It'd be like using the Adam West Batman logo but basing it on early Bob Kane stories or TDK.
But there are characters from the often overlooked original comics which is the modern stuff is loosely based on and April has hardly over been presented as a reporter.

The one thing I've seen from the mainstream 80's version is the Technodrone being used in the background of a new stage on the official site. So I think we may get at the very least, Bebop & Rocksteady.
If I think about it, that's all we really need from the 80's cartoon. Of course, if Ubisoft feels like delivering a lot of fan-service, they could include alternate costumes for.. let's say, April, wearing her yellow jumpsuit, or Shredder using the early movies' outfit.
With every passing day, I get more excited about the game.
The VIDEO doesn't say it. Ubisoft has never said it. Until I see a statement, video or image from Ubisoft, who is making the game, then I will accept that it is on PS2.
Keep in mind, Bandai-Namco kept saying Beautiful Katamari was for PS3 and Wii and it was only for 360, so it's subject to change, be misinformation, or just be wrong in general.
Wii gets too many ports from the ps2! And most of them suck, the wii is not last gen, so it shouldn't get ps2 games that are last gen and no one wants.
If this game comes out on ps2 i wont support unless there is online.

As a kid in early 90s I never played the original Turtles games and thought to myself: "wouldn't it be cool if I could play April??"
I mean, PLEASE keep the feminism out of TMNT and go back to relegating April to the role of "dumb cunt who gets kidnapped all the time".

Hey i dont really blame you for being disappointed so far I'm really surprised on the turnout to.
If its a anniversary we should get characters like Bebop, Rocksteady, Leatherhead, Krang, Baxter Stockman(I dont care which version), Slash,ect

Nightwatcher was pretty surprising. And I was expecting Karai. Now only the main antagonists of the movie have yet to appear.
I'm hoping if Stockman appears (and he will...) they use his human form controlling Mousers, as opposed to his robot form.

Still, this game seems targetted at the comics fans and the CGI film, which if you ask me, wasn't as revolutionary as the first two films.
Maybe if I had seen it when I had the chance, I'd know who these new people are.
At least the main Turtles are still the same...
I only hope Ubisoft speeds up the game a bit. Not a biggie if they don't, though.
