My father was killed by a truck. Back in the day, as every Thai knows, if a truck hit you it was company policy to back up and finish the job off. It was cheaper to pay the death settlement than ER bills. There were 23 witnesses and photographs of this happening. I took the driver and the owner of the trucking company to court. The owner was a rich elite in Thailand with connections to the scum King. The case wasn't even heard, and we didn't even receive our death payment.

Did you know that Khmer Script developed from a script from India? Of course you didn't. Siam was a younger empire than Khmer so some of the writings and architectures are similar, but they are not the same.
