  • since when do court cost get so high? are we paying the costs with a court appointed attorney (thats all we get rights to) or are we paying for a high end attorney and all there charges? last time i checked, we were responsible for our own fees. i guess we the taxpayers, need to reopen a case against these individuals to get our money back.

  • He should join Ron Pauls party and become the next president as he and Ron have much in common. A third party is our only hope. We need more Alan Graysons.

  • "I cannot, in justice to my own belief, and what I have great reason to conceive is the intention of Congress, conclude this address, without giving it as my decided opinion, that that honorable body entertain exalted sentiments of the services of the army; and, from a full conviction of its merits and sufferings, will do it complete justice."

George Washington addressing his officers who were plotting to militarily revolt against the government. Republicans... he's talking to you...

  • Time to start be Americans and quit pointing fingers - this is inexcusable. We need more Alans in congress!!

  • So...they stole money that we earned & gave it to these guys, who then used it in criminal ways to make themselves & their buddies more rich.

Now they are stealing more money we earn & using it to defend these criminals.

And meanwhile the American taxpayers who are paying to defend these scumbags are busy losing their jobs and losing their homes, and can't even afford groceries for their own families, much less health insurance.

They wonder why the 'unwashed masses' are getting angry.

  • As Lisa said, the government won't back out of contracts that are already made and Alan Grayson knows that. This is just another example of Alan Grayson grandstanding.

  • Unless we are dealing with auto bailouts, then the government can dismiss the contractual obligations to secured debt holders.

  • He is not grandstanding. The government can and does routinely pursue breaches of contract just like this. There may be criminal matters here as well.

We the people have the power. Alan Grayson is doing his part of what "We the people" need him to do.

  • Thank you again Alan Grayson!

  • prayfortruejustice.

Thanks for what? Wasting our tax dollars talking to the PRESS about something Alan Grayson has no power to do anything about.

  • MSNBC sucks just like Barney....

  • This is OUTRAGEOUS!!!

  • wow! @1:33 MSNBC has (D) behind Graysons name, then @~1:34 they change it to (R). MSNBC is just trying to undermine his effort to have this message heard by trying to insinuate to viewers that this "republican" is just causing trouble, when in fact this honorable man is a democrat with moral, ethical values--unlike a lot in DC. GO GRAYSON!!

  • Grayson is doing what he can.I like the way he speaks out against atrocities.

  • It never ends. This is outrageous!!

  • This Shit has to STOP!!

As a Taxpayer I'm tired of getting screwed.

  • I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power of money should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs." Thomas Jefferson 1743-1826 3rd U.S. President.

Dickens wrote: "Credit is a system whereby a person who can't pay gets another person who can't pay to guarantee that he can pay."

  • Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank You are a den of vipers and thieves. I intend to rout you out, and by the grace of the Eternal God, will rout you out. Andrew Jackson

  • A sound banker, alas, is not one who foresees danger and avoids it, but one who, when he is ruined, is ruined in a conventional way along with his fellows, so that no one can really blame him." - John Maynard Keynes, 1931.

Reform cannot be achieved by a well-intentioned leader who recruits his followers from the very people whose moral confusion is the cause of the disorder." - Socrates

  • Grayson is doing the right thing, unlike the other Democrat pigs like Frank and Pelosi

  • Frank is a good guy. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is not his fault. He was in the monority between 95 to 2006.

  • Its funny how republicans ignore the fact that they controlled congress since bill clinton's tenure and thus had all chair positions on committees during that time, including oversight of fannie mae and freddie mac.

    Selective memory I guess.

  • Quick, Quick, someone call Superhero Barry Frank. Clearly Freedie Mac would do no wrong.

  • I have Congressman's Frank's Dartmouth Townhall meeting on my youtube page. He talks about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on part 1. It was not his fault. Democrats were in the house minority between 1995 to 2006. Therefore a republican was incharge of the finance committee at the time. Not Barney Frank. Democrats only had fillibuster power after 2002 midterms.

  • thank you Grayson for trying to help out the taxpayer! fannie and freddy need to be shut down! honesty is more important than security!!

  • Go greyson

  • They are "offensive to some," I'm sure, but are they illegal?

  • If the govt didnt back the loans the loans would not have been made. We need to get the federal govt out of private market and make risk a reality.

  • we are going to need a real big jail when we finish arresting all the crooks in gov.

  • go Alan Grayson!~ i don't even know what to say... it's simply outrageous, but certainly not unexpected...

  • send then to jail
