  • The mechanism is sensitive for dirt.

There's a good video on You Tube "Quinny Buzz - Removing and cleaning the front wheel" how to take it apart. But possibly you have a different type: In that case look for the small hole in the black plastic above the wheels. Turn around the wheels until you see inside this hole a metal pin. Press it with a screw driver and the wheel comes off.

  • We have never had problem with Quinny Buzz, nor with the wheels.

  • I love our quinny buzz. I always have compliments and my daughte is just so comfortable. I didnt have any problem with the wheel however I always have hard time folding it. Is there a technique? Did you guys see the quinny dreamy yet? That one you only push the botton and it folds and unfolds itself. I like the style of the buzz better but i hope when by the time i have my second child, theyll make the buzz as easy to fold as the quinny dreamy. Do the make double strollers?

  • @getgirly yes hold the buttons until you hear the click

  • I had this problem also, I used lubricant spray and I don't have that problem any more! thank GOD!

  • Indeed this is a problem we didn't have. We had the problem that on indoor surficaces the weel slided. We bought an outdoor weel wich is the same as the weels in the rear side. That really works great. I find it even discrasefull that you have to buy an outdoor weel to have a good buggy.

  • @Paertje no you have to clean and oil the unit within time it will happen to you allterrain wheel aswell

  • Fail..

  • I have the same problem too!!! Does that mean the wheel is not working well or just dirty?

  • there is a hole in the axle of the wheel and finished lubricating oil

  • YA i am relieved to know that so many people aare having the same problem!

I HATE IT SO MUCH :(

its so difficult to put together, and then the wheel is just throwing me off the edge, im thinking of just selling it on kijiji and buying a simple stroller that i dont have to assemble while my baby is waiting for me

  • buy a bugaboo

  • ours was doing this as well. we called quinny and they sent us a brand new Buzz 4 front wheel set for $30!. The Buzz 4 sells for $630 while the Buzz 3 sells for $580. We basically now have a Buzz 4 for only $30 more. The Buzz 4 wheels are much better for tight turns and indoor floors. I'm going to attempt to repair the Buzz 3 front wheel with some spray on grease

  • @NorthShoreInnovation . Hi. i have the same problem. Would you tell me which number did you call? I tried searching it on their website but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

  • Using oil problem is gone

  • Not by 3 weel Quinny Buzz but 4 weel Quinny Buzz then U dont have this kind of problems :P

  • just to let you know, i had this same problem, called Quinny and they sent me a brand new one. And let me choose a new color too...

  • you need to take the front wheel off and give it a really really good clean, then put some 3 in 1 oil on it. Mine did the same until I did this and haven't had a problem with in since , the is a tiny hole just above the wheel this will release the actual wheel so you can clean it. good luck!!

  • We have the same problem. My experience is that the front wheel only does this on certain floors, when it can't get good enough grip. The shiny floor in the video is a typical problem floor. I usually just give the wheel a little kick to adjust it.

  • I had the same problem,... among others. I got rid of it!

  • HA HA HA

  • I LOVE my Quinny Buzz. It is so worth the money. It is great how it reclines in three different positions and the seat can face forward or backward. I haven't had this problem yet but if I do I will know what to do thanks to the comments below.

  • I had the same problem. If you read the manual, it says you are meant to clean the wheels once in a while and keep them lubricated with dry teflon spray (as per the manual).

Don't use WD40 though because that attracts dirt and grease. Get the dry teflon spray from the bike shops. Even they recommend against using WD40.

If there are creaks, try lubricating that with the spray as well. From memory the manual implied that as well.

  • I just had this problem with a BUZZ I bought on ebay, it's a common problem with all front wheels that are made from plastic without a bearing being installed, it happened to our i-candy apple too, take the front wheels off by pressing the two black buttons and pulling the wheels out, clean them up and lube them with a good sinthetic oil not WD40, it has smaller molecules which can trap dust and dirt, making the problem worse.

  • our one does this AND also it clicks and then collapses slightly on one side if you push it over a kerb etc, have checked it was correctly opened fiest - this fancy rubbish should be taken off the market and all customers refunded, what a rip off!!

  • Threw mine in the trash and got a peg perego. Putting it toghether and taking it apart is such a waste of time and alot of hassle with a young one waiting to be taken care of. Peg perego folds in seconds and is ready to go in the trunk. All hype

  • Threw it in the trash? Are you made of money? It seems like an expensive product to just be thrown away. I am very happy with mine and it was very easy to put together. I also love how easy it folds down and pops back up. You might be talking about a different stroller.

  • not a waste of money to me. I think the real waste of money is everyone throwing out half their retirement plan on the stock market. throwing out a bad product is just clearing clutter that makes me stressed out.

  • hi there. it happened to my quinny as well. You need to clean the wheel, U can take off the front wheel by press in the hole at the black plastic part at the front wheel. then put some WD-40 in it. It works really well.

  • I also have a quinny buzz and i am VERY UNHAPPY with it , I found my chassis creeks very loudly when i push it . I and the shop tried WD40 but nothing works .I was told i have to accepted this embarrsing noise as a feature of the quinny's chassis .

  • thanks to this video, i bought it in 4 wheels...

  • I have received replacement wheel because our still had warranty. My daughter was only 13 months when I took that video.

  • cool

  • yes the wheel sticks a lot when the stroller is OVERLOADED!

the bottom basket is for 5 kg only...11 lbs! i have seen it on other strollers with double or triple that plus an kid far too large for the stoller

  • Ours kept doing that until we saturated it in WD40 and it moves again. Try it!!

  • Thanks for the prevention :(

  • I have the same problem! HATE THAT FRONT WHEEL!!!
