Man, I am an aspiring comic artist myself, I really love watching this whole creation process... I just wish the techniques used here made more sense to me :( How large are these files in pixels before they get shrunk into the web-view size?
@arcanejazz Most of my files are 6.875 x 10.5 at 600 dpi, though recently I have been doing them at 1200 dpi just because I have been running into situations where I could use the extra resolution.
@enicolle And thats the day I realized my monitor is insufficient to work on art lol. If you dont mind the questions, I'm also curious what you actually use while drawing? A graphic tablet I'd assume... I've got a tiny wacom bamboo 3x5 myself. It's just crazy to see you capable of drawing directly on the tablet, and the picture actually comes out great looking. No scanners involved. Definitely beyond me, if I dont make it with pencil it looks awful.
@arcanejazz I use the smaller Cintiq... the one that looks like it's supposed to be portable but it really isn't. I would love the giant one, but right now I have the little guy. Though I only got it recently. Before then I did most all my work on an intuos. Not sure the size. Mediumish.
What type of drawing pen/pad do you use?
