Buckethead unlike Batio and Malmsteen sounds just as good playing two notes as he does playing 24 notes a second. To me Batio sounds like porn music and Mamsteen is pretty damn great too but a lot of his material is very similar though I do have some favourites. Buckethead is the man though as the greatest all round guitarist by far.. Excellent in all fields.
Best part about the disguise is if you screw up in real life like 99 percent of the artists out there it will never effect your character on stage. No tabloids trashin you. Its a great Idea if you ask me. And walking the streets unnoticed would be a huge benefit as well. It also ads to the mystique.

There's two reasons why I believe he wears the bucket and mask, one is to hide his face so he can actually walk outside his house without being bombrushed of people. The other is just for looks, he wouldn't be as awesome if he didn't wear a bucket on his head, agreed?
He's so unique, fresh, he makes so many different sounds and riffs. You can tell he is really all about the music and not himself. I believe that is partly why he wears the bucket and mask.
well dude actually...soothsayer is NOT overrated. It deserves the popularity because IT IS and extremely awesome song. maybe one of his bests! Never say its overrated because its extremely awesome.

I love Bucketheads way of giving his songs weird names like
"i can only carry 50 chickens at a time" i think it gives the emotion and feeling
that people say Buckethead doesn't have.
