you have to make sure the project is in the key of the song you're singing to. you can set this when you create a new project. then record yourself singing. after you have a track you like, click a button that looks like a pair of scissors-- now you will see "Enhance Tuning," drag the little button all the way to the right and select "Limit to Key." this is how i do it

when you sing with autotune can you still sing in key? or will it not work then? do you have to intentionally sing terribly? or something?

i still have to set it to match the key of the song (A), so i sing in key, but dont try too hard to do it well :)

if i dont sing in key, it ends up sounding too alien like and weird.
