I read the book. Page 105 is a disappointment. This scene in the TV show is gold, however.

The second books is a lot better. I think the author is one of the writing staff for the series. It contains relationship spoilers. Which is why I have already reserved my copy for the third book.

Love how if you actually have the book (at least in hard cover, not sure about the soft cover) the paged mentioned is the page it starts on. Gotta love that type of detail in the script that they make sure that's the page it starts on in the real book

@graveswill Very much real. I've got the first two books (the books prior to the Nikki Heat series of books are however not real [as much as some fans might want to read Castle's prior books :D ]). You can pick them up at your local bookstore. I bought mine at Barnes and Noble myself, though they had to order Heat Wave for me as they couldn't find it when I was trying to purchase it. Naked Heat however I got the day it came out.

@sdas175 They're not my usual type of book to read (I don't usually read murder mystery novels) but they do mirror the show quite well which kept me reading and actually liking the books. I just kept reading them as Beckette and Castle though rather than Heat and Rook lol
