  • I think we have the same head shape. I'm also skinny with a large head (59cm or about 23-1/4 inches). What size bell did you get? I normally wear a large in everything and have to get medium cheek pads.

@ducatiprofessional I'd kill you for saying less, so think about that before opening your dick hole.

  • @mooosestang I got the XS

  • @mooosestang I got the XS

  • do you wear the glasses with the helmet?

  • Do you wear glasses or goggles with the Bell Star?

  • what a thin dork! Anyway this is a awesome helmet. I have the same color. Pure Ducatiesque!

  • Definitely a good redesign. The 2008 and 2009 models were notoriously uncomfortable for a large portion of people. Padding was very, very thin. Internal shape was very narrow and the finish was not as nice as similarly priced helmets. Sizing was also an issue. Everyone had to buy one size larger than normal. Moral of the story - if you want a Bell Star, don't bother with the pre 2010 models.

  • CUSTOMERS BE ADVISED it is summer 2010 i bought a bell star 2010 with a dark smoke visor and blue iridium visor ordered may 28 2010 (back order) got the helmet 6 weeks later and i am still waiting for the visors i hate being half way through the summer with no dark visors ......... bottom line bell production is so far behind on its orders this year don't even bother you will pull your hair out waiting .... the bell arrow i ordered it with the star for my wife still no helmet

  • how do you think the anti fog on the bell compares to the scorpion's ever clear?

  • @ThaBR33D Hard for me to say. I haven't done much riding in the cold or rain where fogging often occurs. So I couldn't say first, but with the brow vent and the lever on the side to crack the visor open slightly, i don't think it would fog up.

  • That helmet in that color scheme reminds me of the original red power ranger's mask, especially when its on a 3/4 angle from the camera

  • that looks like a power ranger helmet. its a nice helmet

  • Wow, I have a Scorpion exo 400. That helmet screen removal is so fast, and that little notch is probably the first I've seen on a helmet hahah. O.o

  • Nice review of the helmet. I actually have the exact same one and absolutely love it!

  • the helmet looks good and it fully efficient not like other helmet..an if it quiet inside it do you hear the traffic??? This helmet worth it's every dollar that you spend on it . nice tutorial. waiting for the next one

  • @psypc3 I never hear traffic. I always have earbuds in with music.

  • @AtlasRider I always wear earbuds too, glad someone else does.

  • I have had an HJC helmet for awhile...its my first helmet, i was actually looking to buy another one that keeps out more wind...any suggestions?

  • @rubidium131990 The Bell is just as quiet as my Scorpion EXO 700, but the Scorpion is cheaper

  • @AtlasRider thanks, really appreciate it. i looked into it, really nice helmet, and half the price i imagined, about $230,00 at dealership by my place.

  • Interesting ,thank you ! Bell seem to have reappeared and generally reletavely cheap ,my first helmet was a Bell & I think it was considered pretty good at the time, but very heavy. Then I had Shoeis'. I haven't checked the Sharp Test but I really like the look of them. I've had shark helmets (4) for some time as they were excellent value in every way but shall re visit Bell now.

  • I bought a Bell helmet at walmart (model before this) and its great. I love the padding material in it. I got a size small and it fits, but I wish it would fit more snug.

I hear from people say that Bell is cheap. Sure they're helmets are cheaper, but they've been making helmets for decades.

  • Really good review AR.Thanks for breaking everything down on it and free helmets are always good :-).

  • Useful!

  • Doesn't look like much more than a standard cheap helmet with perhaps a better ventilation and the lever to have the visor a little open. Surely tha'ts not much bang for buck.

  • Nice review.....looks like a good helmet.

  • ZOMG i want that atlasrider.....

  • I have an slightly older version of this helmet and I love it. In a couple years, i'll probably pick up the newer version.

  • Air vents are key. you can never have too many on a portable head heater.

  • Good video. Six hundred dollars may seem steep but I heard a phrase years ago that goes something like: "If you have a 30 dollar brain, buy a 30 dollar helmet". This helmet clearly enhances the riding experience and after investing say 12 grand for a ride and gear, why be annoyed by a cheap lid?

  • Very good review AR! Personally I like the paint scheme better than many of the very intricate graphics out there.

    Stay safe!

  • @cdwolf Sort of power rangers like, if that's your style.

  • 13Mordeth should see this

  • Good review, too bad the 2010 Bell Star is a almost $600 dollar helmet for the cheaper paint schemes.

  • My very first full face helmet was a "Bell Star". I'm pretty sure that it was one of the first, if not THE first, full face helmet to be put on the market. Showing my age, I guess.
