I currently own 8 of Dave's books, have read all but 3 he's ever written. I read his column before he even went to Miami. Yeah, I'm a big fan...and yes, he is America's funniest guy....but, you know, he can be at his best when he's the most serious.

Three cheers for Craig Ferguson!! I've watched several Dave Barry interviews, and I love his humor and have developed several major religions around his books, but I think he gets really nervous and really defensive during interviews (just a thought. Or maybe he really is kind of an ass in real life), and I'm so impressed with how well Craig Ferguson sort of...handled things. Huzzah!

Yeah, I thought so too. While reading his books, I always imagined his voice just different, not as what I'm hearing. But, no biggie. Just wondering if the voice I hear as I read will fluctuate between the one I have come to know, and this one.
