  • Haha there are so many idiots in the comments who think they're the first to incorrectly cry animal cruelty about this. Cool video.

  • wh the hell dogs cats and parrots im am jealous of u!!!! btw wh breed is the kitty?? :)

  • The parrot said "Dont touch my tail, or i kick you ass you chiсken shit"

  • Lol how do I check email?

  • Only a single fuck was given by the parrot this day.

  • This kind of stuff, REALLY pisses me off....!!! Being the avian lover i am, these past 25yrs. Are you folks that stupid to realize, that your African Grey, could have done some SERIOUS damage to that kitty......!!! A full force bite, from a parrot this size, especially on this little kitten would NOT be a pretty sight....(g)

  • @tomtalker2000 yet another know-it-all crying via youtube comments about animals being mistreated. go do something productive

  • You know one scratch from the cat can KILL your bird? Cats have bacteria on their nails and teeth that kiss birds. Hell- Ever heard of cat scratch fever?

Further more- a Grey can break a human finger with a bite- Think of what it can do with the cats leg. My cat runs freely around my grey and conures- but my cat will never mess with a bird so freely,

  • is that a male calico?

  • 1:27 hahahaahahahahahhahaahahahah

  • Hey! You shit asshole this is the wrong place for him he goes ill and maybe the or a cat fight with him,you must buy another parrot or you must give him back! Capiche

  • HA Quasimoto what a name!... perfect for a parrot!

  • Parrot: you don't get my tail biatch!

  • Parrot: "You go after my tail, I'll go after yours! It's called karma!"

  • 1- everyone's right--cat saliva can be DEADLY- many people have cats too, but birds *do* die from it, so this is playing with fire

2- bird isn't calm, but i DON'T see stress--i see curiosity. those who have greys know they make VERY obvious (and loud) cries when truly stressed

3- unless the owner has barriers there, the grey can easily run away (fly?) at any time

4- cat under the couch playing w/ open claws was BIG danger

5- EEK! how many cats vs bird?

6- kitten prob learned helpful lesson

  • @flychomperfly

is dog saliva as deadly or not really?

Im interested in getting an Congo African grey

But i didn't notice anything of them being allergic/deadly cause from dog saliva.

  • @hail13dogs answer is *yes*--dog saliva also carries the bacteria...so do humans--that is why you will see many warnings to avoid letting birds near our mouths or our saliva.

HOWEVER...the reality is it mostly happens with an open wound. therefore, it is much more rare with dogs and humans (many people kiss their birds and have dogs too)..

the prob w/ cats is they harbor the bacteria on the claws. and since claw scratches break skin, bacteria gets a direct in.

so no drooling on bird LOL

  • @hail13dogs i should tell you in case no one else has yet mentioned this...

with dogs, the biggest danger is size and aggression. dogs that are typically gentle don't always know their own strength, and a bird can be hurt unintentionally. also, even the sweetest dogs may consider a bird "fair game"--so they will prey on a pet bird.

based on vet stories, the worst part of it is that an accident can happen very quickly--just like with infant children. so, supervision is *paramount*

    best 2 u

  • Haha "how do you check your email?".... "...inbox". Legend!

  • My CAG rules my cat too. When I first got her, they didn't know what to make of each other. One day, they were both on the back of the couch, sitting nicely together. She started preening the cat's tail (he's got super long hair), the cat twitched his tail once and she bit down with all she had.

  • Billiant idea of the bird to do that hahaha ;-)

  • Bored to death in Afghanistain, this did not help. cute cats though.

  • cat siliva can kill parrots

  • poor bird. that's just sad =(

  • @kansasScout08 ==" whatever

  • WTF!!! random ninja attack hiding under ya couch!

  • Parrot's like "How you like your tail being messed with hmmmm?"

Normally I'd fuss about seeing cats near a parrot, but you were literally within arm's reach, and the parrot was bigger than the cat, so I suppose I can leave out the lecture today.

  • @CatalystSpark LOL i do the sammeee thing hahaha!

  • Why would you knowingly put a Parrot in distress like that? It would be like putting you in an alligator pit and watching the gator snap at your arms and legs.

  • @nowskiiii

Shows how much you know about parrot's. IT RULES THE CATS !

  • @donetracey

That is not true because I have seen cats attack an African Gray and bring it close to death. Cats also carry diseases that are very harmful to parrots. It's not wise to keep them in the same household for the sake of the parrot.

  • @donetracey And that comment shows how much YOU know about parrots. A bird should NEVER be stressed. Before posting retarded comments get a clue!

  • @donetracey ur so RUDE u ass i wish u where a cat and i was a bird i would bit ur ass

  • @nowskiiii or....OR.....it would be like hacing a cat paw at you innocently...

  • @nowskiiii lol don't be silly, you can tell when parrots are in distress and this one isn't. If anything the parrot is the dominator when it comes to cats or dogs. Besides the cats are most likely just as curious about the parrot as it is about them.

  • @nowskiiii Implying that you know everything about animals.

  • @nowskiiii ummm have you ever owned a parrot?? trust me if this grey was in distress you would "hear" about it and the parrot would defiantly tell the cat to bugger off

  • @nowskiiii I agree, I wouldn't do that.

  • @Thatsamistery Thanks... When I posted my comment I had just finished reading “Alex & Me,” Irene Pepperberg’s memoir of her African Gray parrot. I had no idea that birds were so sensitive before I read the book, so when I saw this, I had empathy for the parrot. I did not know there would be so many mean-spirited remarks, directed at me personally, for posting a comment.

  • whey, Parrot -1 Cat - 0

  • Cute pets but you shouldn't let the cats do that to the bird it makes the bird feel either nervous, comfortable or scared but Kewl vid :D

  • @Ashleypunkchic2098 uncomfortable**

  • Thats cute I got my kitten at that age but I didn't allow her to play with my parrot till she got older and use to him they got to see each other but didn't play yet till the cat was older.

  • LOL

  • cats saliva is poisonus to birds be careful x

  • niiiiice!!!

  • haha! Awesome!

  • go dye the tail gray

  • omg that gird is sooo smart 0.0

  • Hahahahahaha love those birds.
