I went to the Centre for the Arts in Toronto for a concert one evening. My girlfriend and I were standing outside having a cigarette before the performance. I noticed a gentleman pacing around in a nervous fashion just outside the main doors. I thought nothing of it and went in to find my seat. As it happens.... that gentleman was Kevin Lau and he was introducing the opening overture that he had composed. Later I thanked him for the performance. Neat eh?
His overture was riveting! He called it "Artemis". During the performance he instructed the woodwinds to blow into their instruments but not to produce sound. It gave the unusual effect of hearing wind. Just incredible! Did you know that he is only 22 or 23 years old? Amazing talent...
Wow ~23 is very young to compose or even to be so famous. He seems to be young and gifted. You know much about him, did you talk to him after the concert?
I would have liked to chat with him but I was busy spending time with the conductor backstage. He had a party in his dressing room. Complete with open bar and guests.
How did you learn this piece? I found it on the OverClocked website months ago and have been combing the web for the sheet music ever since - no luck.
A Google search did the trick and quick it was! All I have to do is wait for my Adobe update to finish ^_^; and I'll be in business. I appreciate the help!

Hey dude,
Yes, I was looking for this piece for some months, too.
You can find it on Kevin Lau's website. A quick google search should be successful.
