They were never going to get past the bears or saints even then!

It's funny how Romo is playing great football ever since DeMarco Murray emerged as a legit RB. Shows what a consistent running game can do for a QB.
There's no reason the Cowboys should have been throwing the ball into the 4th qt. in those loses to the Jets and Lions. It's not Romo's the play-calling tried to mast the lack of a running game to win the game late.

Romo is getting the Danny White treatment (when he wins or performs well he gets no credit cause it wasnt in the superbowl, when he loses or plays poorly he is treated like the worst QB in the league). I have a feeling that even when/if he wins a superbowl, half of cowboys nation and the national sports media will just blow it off and say "yeah, but he can't win multiple superbowls" and after the first time he plays poorly the next year they will be back to the "throw that bum out!" bullshit.

First of all, the defense fell off a cliff after that buccs game (ellis injured, no pass rush other than Ware) and dallas gave up an average of 30pts per game afterward, remember that in the 4th quarter the seahawks were lighting up the defense and they would have had almost 2 min and a couple of timeouts to come back with a field goal to win, which they probably would have. They were never going to get past the bears or saints even then!

The footage you selected is VERY misleading......you make it look like as he played, that he got BETTER as a quartback and started to mature! He did NOT. What you DIDN'T show is that he's still making rookie type decisions on the field and STILL throwing panic throws into horrible coverage. And you DON'T show him not protecting the ball when he scrambles, or not being able to finish off big games......pretty misleading and way overdone music for a mediocre quarterback at best...

this is still a great video... one of my favorite seasons for the recent Cowboys era... 06-07 we emerged from pitiful to entertaining. It might not have ended perfectly but it was a fun season....
now that we're expected to do well, now the seasons are more annoying or frustrating or dissapointing, but 06-07 was an amazing run.
