Comparing the Profusion 88 color palette to the Coastal Scents 88 color palette

i have the profusion 154 color eyeshadows && it work great it lasts all day/night .. it think it last more than my 88 color palette from bh cosmetics // bt that one has more bright colors than profusion either way both r greqt and work well

i think the profusion is awesome and it last all day for me lol i dont have the palette my friend does i literally always do my make up over there haha buh its also the only eyeshadow that sticks to my eyes GREAT and doesnt fade. i have it on right now from like 5 hours ago:P i dont wear a bases or foundation, and watnot only consealer for my circles lmfao and mistake cuz i dont like caked up faces cuz i dont really have ache just sum freckles =] i like to keep it loow with the make up.

Thank yo for taking the time out to do this. I ran across this palette in Ross today and thought it looked just like other 88 palettes so I wondered. I passed on it bc I couldnt find a review on MUA quickly on my phone. Now I know that I don't need to race back to Ross to get it! :)

@WWBraveNewGirl You should! Once you get it you don't really need any other palette unless you're a makeup freak like I am/was(?). I want the metal mania/neutral 88 palette but I don't do my eyeshadow often enough to justify it anymore :(

This answered my question!But yea I have the Profusion 36 eyeshadow palette some colors are too shimmery but some are alright I guess I just wish the nuetrals were not so shimmery!

Just saw this video lol i know im a little late. but i have the same palette and ur right the scent when you open it is like... whoa, and i agree the colors are a little all over the place as in like the pinks are all in different spots and the blues and all the other colors but over all i dont think its a bad palette. Costed me ten at gordmans though lol.

the profusion looks like it has a LOT of repeat colors. or colors very close in tone. It is hard to tell if they are repeats or just close, because the coastal scents are in order of color & gradation but profusion's are all over the place. Like I am looking at 3 very similar silvery baby blue & baby pink profusions, but because the blues & pinks are not all together but all over the pallette, it is hard to tell if it is really worth it w/many nearly identical colors it is not really 88 colors

So I bought a Profusion Palette from my local Ross and I also found that the pallets smell was rather overpowering and it bothered me also. It wasn't the same palette as in the video either. So i think all the Profusion palettes might have this weird overpowering smell...

@gimmeanutellajar Yeah I have two of them and I find that even after having them for as long as I have the smell is still there. It isn't anywhere near as strong but I agree it seems to be a profusion thing.

To dupe your favorite blue I would suggest Milani Runway Eyes Mini Pallette in Beauty in Blues, or NYX Chrome Shadow in Bayou or Milani Powder Eye Shadow in Atlantis. Nice review. Unfortunately there isnt a Ross in my state so when I go on vacation I will have to look for this. Thanks! (:
