  • "Woah i just learned that you can twist the wire onto the stem while the caps on".............."I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS" O___O

  • Cool

  • lifeless.

  • i was thinking, all that for a small ass flame?.... oh wait WOAH

  • To me this is an ORDINARY candle, and oven lighter, exept the cap, and carabine hook -.- waste of money. Love the ordinary Zippo lighter <3

  • whats the function of this device?

    and, how much?

  • whats the function of this device?

  • LOL! this is just basically this lighter on steriods. 5 stars :)

  • thanks bro nice vid

  • Very nice review

  • I guess you have to be a survival guy to understand this design lighter. LOL Great video!

  • That's funny, with the twisting the wire on. Because just before you did it I actually thought "Why doesn't he just twist the cap and wire around the tip? Problem solved" So then you did it and I started laughing. Funny world...

  • I would take off the grip and put it on a dildo to see my way through an undiclosed area

  • Does anyone know how to get one of these to the UK? I've been searching for ages and just cannot find anywhere that sells them and ships to the UK..

  • lol good idea you just thot about that very second haha :D

  • do the fuel evaporates quickly

  • arg, stupid watch batteries. why not a simple triple A battery?

  • Hello jeff;D im a new sub to you can u make an video like that, with zippo blu and a zippo ? ;D

  • I was looking to buy this, but it doesn't seem to be on the UK Zippo website, and every time I try to buy it from the US on, it just redirects me to the UK site where this product isn't on there.

    :(

  • looks kinda bulky

  • great review! thank you.

  • Nice viedeos dude! I was just wondering.. I'm going to buy a zippo lighter (for smoking mainly) and would be grateful if youd recommend some for me. Any differences between normal (models) zippos? Should i get blu?

  • i have no idea how i started watching this, but it's cool and reminded of when i used to watch those knife infomercials on tv for 2 hours straight.."ok folks after we give you these 300 various knives, we are going to throw in a KATANA!(with sheath!)" lol

  • Boring.

  • This is a really cool lighter. I am going to buy one asap.

  • 5 star Thanks for sharing Jeff. I did not know about this type of lighter.

    Wranglerbarn

  • @wranglerbarn No problem Zippo has always offered other items bu tthey always get overlooked most people just know about their infamous standard zippo lighter, but over the years they sold pens, knives, ashtrays, all kinds of stuff...

  • that is a sweet lighter.

  • we have the original mpl and it sucks!!

it won't light most of the time

  • as if anyone would use that, it's an absolute brick.

  • man...what do you do with so many gadgets, lighters knives guns... etc

I mean they cost a lot and most of the time I guess you don't even touch it cuz' you have so many things

  • Have you burnt your left hand or something? It looks like there's a mark on it

  • @zackfair5580 search cutlerylover aloe

  • @cutlerylover ah OK thanks, I've been a bit behind on my youtube subscriptions because I have exams at the moment

  • their button cell batteries

  • I've had dozens of expensive lighters. I've discovered that the most reliable ones are the simple bic lighters. They almost never fail and dont rely on electric igniters. The lighter in your video is cool though. You can the wire/cap combo to garrote chimpmunks or field mice... 8D

  • yay more zippo vids

  • Looks way overbuilt and bulky. Cool for the collection! Flame gets nice and big. But beware I can break anything!

  • Hey do you advertise these things or do you make these for fun?

  • @drakeconstant I review stuff like this for other peopel who might think about buying it, its independant and I dont get paid to review anything...its part for fun and part for helping others see stuff like this and learn..

  • you get cooler shit for your bday and xmas, i usually get a 6 pack and some packs of winstons.

  • Thanks Jeff, to me it looks like a great "camp" lighter but appears to be too bulky or perhaps heavy to be an ideal hiking or back-packing lighter. If I was up hunting it would serve nicely near the Coleman stove or kitchen but I couldn't see myself carrying it around. I really like the idea of the cap the though.

  • @Patriot36 agreed, state parks or day hikes is its limit for MOST people and for peopel who hike regularly probably wont like it for its size...

  • Hey, do you know anyone who could restore an old Zippo lighter?

  • @jasnyoung cant u just send it to zippo?

  • @presto1210 No, the lighter I have is like 50 years old and has some surface rust. It was my grandfather's and it spent the last many years of its life in a barn.

  • @presto1210 After doing a little research, it looks like it is a 1942-1945 model made for the military in WW2.

  • zippo should pay you lol i bought three zippo classica thanks to you! keep up the good work

  • lol so true it is the same lighter but with steroids

  • the coil is so it stays on during wind

  • i'd put some 550 para cord on it and ad it to your b.o.b bag

  • I have a question relating zippo pocket lighters, I recently got a zippo for my birthday and the date stamped on insert and the case do not match if it ever breaks will that be an issue if I send it back?

  • hay jeff do that have the worringtey on thows literer and you cloud tapye it to your bag a the tip

  • "This lighter on steroids" lmfao!!!

  • maybe the light is there so that if you need light, you can use the LED instead of the lighter's flame so you don't waste fuel or burn down your tent or anything

  • i think my zippo is also from feb of 03

  • Fantastic review as always!

You said you use this as your backup lighter, what's your main lighter?

    Thanks :-)

  • @CdotDixon A regular zippo with a butane insert to conserv fuel...

  • @cutlerylover

How the hell did you add a butane insert to a regular Zippo lighter?!!

  • @shyvr I have a video on the Z-plus model but I use the thunderbird model since it gives you the same flame...

  • @cutlerylover

Thanks, i'll be sure to check that out!

  • I always pronounced it like owl

  • how often do you go camping?

  • @mysticchip there is a jet flame

  • @cutlerylover dual-flame not jet flame

  • @readallen yes the duel flame is a jet flame inside of a normal flame

  • @cutlerylover awesome

  • they who use this maybe believe it is a lightsabre.

  • Steroids lighter!!!

  • They make it flexible so that you can light a pipe

  • @stasieczekk they make it flexible you can light a grill, camp fire, or candle safely.

  • how much?

  • OUL: Own U Lighter

  • why Zippo why

  • lighter for disabled people much? who need that big of a grip?

  • cool lighter!!

  • Hey can u do a review for the hand warmer?

  • @lakeb0dom

he did already, search through his videos just type in hand warmer review in the search box ;D

  • @Grzld It's not his though.

  • @lakeb0dom he's already done one, check his channel

  • Cutlerylover, you must be one of the best and most comprehensive reviewers on YouTube. You cover absolutely every aspect, without fail. This is the benchmark for reviewers.

  • The coil makes it a little more wind resistant. It heats up and a wind gust blows it out it relights.

  • A+ review like always :)

    looking forward to more videos

  • omg a lightsaber :D thanx for yet another great video jeff

  • That is cool Jeff, thanks for the info.

  • That's not a lighter, it's a LIGHTSABER! Use the force, you know it to be true...

  • thumbs up i just use a stick of flint and a knife rain hail or mud never fails

  • Is it just my sci-fi imagination...or does

this OUL look a bit like a

    small LIGHTSABER? LOL......

    5*

  • @RDPproject OUL = Outdoor Utility Lightsaber!

  • Jeff: Thomas Distributing is a great place to find quality batteries at an inexpensive price. Check 'em out!

  • Is that a balisong scar in your left palm?

  • @pelahale The wound is from cutting himself on the contents of a rubbish bag when helping a friend out. He talked about this in the Aloe Vera video.

  • Nice little tool.

  • Thanks for the reviews never knew about them..

  • no county comm lol jp, great review, i was lookin for a light to carry around when i go hiking, ill definatly look into these forsure, thanks for the vid jeff

  • "This is just basically this lighter on steroids."

    I love your reviews!

  • I have the original one, the latest one looks really cool. GREAT VID, THUMBS UP.

  • word of the day: "contraption"

  • lol your cut is still ther on your left hand

  • Will the new lighter light without the batteries?

Did you notice the resemblance of the lighter to the Light My Fire type fire starters!

I think the flashlight was added to make the lighter appealing to flashaholics too.

  • also, you can get a laser pointer with 3-6 watch batteries for around a dollar, as well as a laser pointer :D

  • lol jeff u like repeating urself dont u?

  • it woulda been funny if it broke, just like teh fork,, teehee

  • @dotdotdashMIKE i thought the same thing

  • looks good

  • Wonder why nature likes to pull anything hanging off of people. Like that and headphone wires... -.-

  • Interesting.

  • I am buying that! Thanks Jeff!!!

  • great for barbques

  • i <3 zippos

  • @puttz2 all hail the zippo

  • @44skull44 yep

  • High flame is mini flamethrower

  • about time for a zippo video lol

  • Cool

  • They are both butane flames :P you meant torch or some people like to call them jet flames...I prefer torch though.

  • now that's what i call a man's lighter lol

  • Another great review, thanks

  • Seems like a pretty robust lighter, that size is a major drawback though. I wouldn't take it backpacking but I might pick one up for lighting the barbecue. Nice work as always on the review Jeff.

  • I was a little afraid you'd snap the cord while you were demonstrating its strength lol.

    great review!

  • another item,I must buy :)

  • I so want one of these. It would be perfect for my camp kitchen. Me and the family are going camping at the lake in a couple weeks about how much does one of these cost and do you have to get it from the Zippo website or are there stores that carry it? Thanks Jeff for another great video!

  • @SigGirl78 about 30 bucks for the cost i bet you could get one in just about any camping store but idk

  • @MrCokeinator thanks

  • thats defintely on my batman utility belt list

  • Its not a county comm video!

I don't know if that is exciting or sad. Regardless it was entertaining. Thanks for the review and learning with me.

  • Looks like a good, rugged lighter for car camping/hunting. You said the date on lighter was 07, is it still available?

  • 6:37

    lol you said wetness..

  • @404MetalHead ....

  • @cubeMaster018 I know, that was very childish and immature, but hey man, you got laugh at stupid things sometimes.

But i do apologize if i offended anyone

  • Seems likea pretty impracticle lighter.

  • Hmm... Oul seems pretty good. Of course I will get one, Love zippos. :)
