I've had dozens of expensive lighters. I've discovered that the most reliable ones are the simple bic lighters. They almost never fail and dont rely on electric igniters. The lighter in your video is cool though. You can the wire/cap combo to garrote chimpmunks or field mice... 8D

Thanks Jeff, to me it looks like a great "camp" lighter but appears to be too bulky or perhaps heavy to be an ideal hiking or back-packing lighter. If I was up hunting it would serve nicely near the Coleman stove or kitchen but I couldn't see myself carrying it around. I really like the idea of the cap the though.

maybe the light is there so that if you need light, you can use the LED instead of the lighter's flame so you don't waste fuel or burn down your tent or anything
