  • It may have been May's song but it of course as usual required King Wembley to take charge...

  • Lovely, lovely words. :)

  • Excellent!! ... many thanks for posting!!

  • Maravilhoso.

  • Amazing song.Époustouflant...bouche bée,sérieux.

  • Nihon go won Gold!...

  • Brian's most beautiful song next to White Queen, Who wants to live forever....more than makes up for (the horror) Cosmos Rocks.

  • Wow. This song means so much to me, I can't describe the memories and feelings it carries with it. Everytime I hear it I cry. It's just perfect, tells the story of my life, somehow.. It makes me think of so many sad things, such as the death of my grandma in 2009. I remember I made a drawing for her then. It was a candle with some lyrics from this song: "In the quiet of the night let our candle always burn, let us never lose the lessons we have learned" I remember exactly what it looked like...

  • Just , wow....

  • 3:43-3:53. ..........Now that is how to make a climax in a song

  • This song still gives me the chills <3, The whole album is great, f.example how the ending of this piece leads to asskicking rockpiece "Tie Your Mother Down"...

  • @Rowdyrecords55 I agree wiv u

  • BELLISSIMA CANZONE...

  • love this song. Passionate Freddie at his best

  • 3:27 - 3:58 that's what real music (the best) can give us. Only Brian as songwriter and Freddie as singer were on that level. Incredibly strong and beautiful song. RIP Freddie

  • Queen at their brilliant best

  • The first time I heard this song, I hated it because I was going through a painful break-up with my Japanese ex lol

  • @TheOpinionatedPerson and how r u now over hope so...this song is great yeah!!!

  • Uno de los temas más melódicos de Queen, aunque todos lo son, brillante Brian.

  • Oh be strong don't turn your heart We're all you're all we're all for all for always..

    Pure awesomeness..........

  • One of my top ten favorite Queen songs. The day I bought ADATR, I must have played this one alone a dozen times. Beautiful.

  • @rockisheaven

    Agree!

  • Hello song that just ushered me into 2010 <3

  • The question is if they've really been his best friends. Most people think that beeing a band is pure fun, big concerts, endless friendship and musical genius. But there have been lots of differences between Roger, Brian, Freddie and John. Mostly because Roger and Freddie have both been very dominant characters.

  • I really thik they were friends. Everyone left their print into every album. They complemment each other.

(I don't speak english well. Hope you could understan what I wanna mean)

  • Gosh, this song was a huge favorite since the first time I heard it! I can feel so much from it... dedication, team work, love, harmony, ... I love this song. It makes me feel warm inside in a way I'd forgotten. Thanks for uploading it.

  • i wonder after all those years where john is? What does he think? What does he want to do? Coming back with his best Friend Roger and Brian?

    it's just my opinion

  • pretty song of course but they really did it to open the assian market. don´t you think?

  • They were huge in Japan since Queen II.I read about it in Freddie's interview that took place before release of A Night at the Opera.I think it was rather big thank you to japan fans from Brian May.The same was with Las Palabras De Amor. But it was directed to South American fans after their succsesful tour in 1981.

  • Japon y Argentina solo son dos formas de abrir mercado en otros continentes. Es posible que lo hicieran para agradecer a la audiencia de esos continentes, pero al final es puro marketing comercial y solo buscan ampliar horizontes.

  • Sorry but I don't speak spanish but thanks for your reply.

  • hiya. what I said is that I think what they did in Japan and Argentina is to give the thanks to all this audience and to open this market too. assian and southern american market are two very importan gold mine for them.

  • Beautiful, beautiful song... brings a tear to my everytime I hear it.

  • Happy bithday Freddie you are a legend and live on forever in our hears. Great song fantastic vocals and lyrics love the piano.

  • 3:26 it seems it were another song

    Is just amazing that part

    everything is perfect

    voice, chorus, guitar, drums

    everything

  • the last chorus... with all of those voices... i think thats the best part... beatiful

  • It's a hymn, pure and simple. A hymn to Music.

  • Probably my favorite Queen song....

  • thanks for ALL the wonderful Queen music!

  • how I love this song

  • And I have learned a tiny bit of Japanese from this song ;>)

  • Ti amo Laura!

  • This is one of the most beautiful songs by Queen.

  • @Spookachting Yes. This one is shockingly pretty.

  • OH BE STRONG!!! best fucking part ever.

  • This must be the most emotionally deeper of all the songs by Queen. It's my favourite.

  • 47000 views and counting... If only a single of this track could sell that much. Hey Queen, I wanna sign ya.

  • That makes at least 88 views a day beloved, & if Freddy were able, he would out sell any of the msic of today I believe:)

  • I'm proud this song as japanese queen's fan.

  • Does Freddie sing the lyrics good in Japanese? Does he have a big accent? (sorry for my bad English)

  • I've seen a live version of this song in Tokyo and when he tries to get the audience to sing, they're all silent. I don't know if that's because they can't understand him or not, but Billy Joel had the same problem in France.

  • Probably because the audience aren't mic'd up.

  • Amazing

  • i had his song in my head all day long! i couldnt wait to get home and listen to it again

  • another hidden queen gem. Thiis and MW are those songs that I can't understand how non queen fan people overlook them

  • My fave Queen song at the moment. <3 I love Freddie's perfect voice!

  • Freddie i love you....

  • One of the best Queen songs ever!!!

  • beautiful

  • Freddie´s voice is the best, so far to this day it remains unmatched

  • Wow, I'm surprised I didn't listen to this masterpiece before!

  • A very special song. :-)

  • 3:40- 3:55 lo mejor de la cancion

  • This song is so beautiful!

Thanks for all your Queen videos! :)

  • I love this song. Love Freddie, love Queen!

  • The part "Don't turn your heart" gets me everytime :-p

    Absolutely lovely song.

  • i think the compositions of Mercury/May are so good as the Lennon/McCartney's

  • Splendid song, Dr. May!

  • I like the final chorus - sounds like it's being sung in a church :)

  • unas de las mejores canciones......

  • Y de las más preciosas de Queen. Brian May tiene hermosas líricas. u.u

    -Kikyou _Queen x ever !

  • luv it<3

  • I learned the Japanese words when I was 12, and still remember them (at 44). Beautiful song!

  • Cool!

    Is it hard in Japanese?

  • Easy: Teo toriatte konomama iko, Aisuruhito yo, Shizukana yoi ni Hikario tomoshi,Itoshiki oshieo idaki. (Don't speak Japanese, just copying lol)

  • When he's singing in Japanese, he's saying soething else, but I can't fully understand it '^^

  • I asked my cousin who speaks fluent Japanese. Apparently the Japanese lyrics are pretty much the same as the english lyrics for the chorus.

  • simply the best, i hear this song and sounds like an angel, thanks freddie for the memories, QUEEN STILL RULES, MEXICO STILL LOVES U.

  • R.I.P Freddy :( I LUv Queen SOo Much :(

  • This is positively my favorite QUEEN song. I get sad every time I hear it now - it gives me chills and I cry. RIP Faruq. :(

  • Teo Torriate Konomama iko :)

    I win Queen trivia xD

  • ha. Sam. You silly girl <3 u

    Shina

  • A Night At The Opera and A Day At The Races = Good combination :)

  • duh. lol. :))

i think a day at the races was overshadowed by a night at the opera though.

  • does anyone know what

    Teo torriatte konomama iko

    Aisuruhito yo

    Shizukana yoi ni

    Hikario tomoshi

    Itoshiki oshieo idaki

    means in english??

    :)<3.

  • Let us cling together as the years go by

    Oh my love my love

In the quiet of the night

    Let our candle always burn

Let us never lose the lessons we have learned

    Basicaly

  • What GiJane1992 said.

  • "Let us cling together as life goes by

    My love,

    The night is falling

But light the fire that burns inside us

And treasure the knowledge that we have gained."

  • actually. I read somewhere that only teo torriate is suppose o mean let us cling together. The rest is suppose to be non sens... But maybe I'm wrong.

  • THE REST IS IN JAPANESE

  • I like to think of "Sheer Heart Attack", "A Night at the Opera" and "A Day at the Races" as a holy trinity of Queen albums.

  • teo torriatte (let us cling together) was on a day at the races i think or a night at the opra with sheer heart attact

  • day at the races

  • day at the races

  • I love this song... And "a day at the races" is a fantastic album! It give me alway a lot of emotions...

  • i love this Song

  • It sounds like the have an elementary school behind them singing.

  • This is such a great album. I'd definitely put it in the top 5 Queen albums.

  • top 5 queen albums? i say top 5 pop albums of all time...

  • correction: one of the top rock albums of all time :)

  • i use "pop" in the broadest sense; that is, there are 4 broad genres of music: classical, jazz, pop, and folk (and this refers to all folk musics of the world). in this sense, "rock" is a subset of "pop".

  • Not really, Rock came before pop. I would say that pop is a subset of rock.

  • Not really, Rock came before pop. I would say that pop is a subset of rock.

  • Fantastic!

  • Either "A day at the races" or "jazz"

    This song is amazing

  • Day at the Races.

  • 中学のとき兄貴の影響で聞いてました。懐かしいです。

    (^o^)

  • totalmene de acuerdo nene

  • I so love this song...... just makes me cry.

  • I love this song, it´s so beautiful :)

  • Maybe "A day at the races" was their best album. Wonderfull song

  • Certainly it was the best, by far.

  • it has a lot of beautiful songs... but for me "A Night At The Opera" and "Queen II" are better

  • the part from 03:26 to 03:59 is so beautiful.

  • Does anyone know how did they create that chorus at minute 4 when it seems it is a church ful of people singing ..?

  • probably a bunch of overdubs, thats all...

  • this song is really gret:the lyrics, the rhythm, the melody are all amazing.brian may shares a lot of feelings and memories thanks to his great talent...I love Queen.

  • amazing song. Brian is such a good songwriter.

  • 日本語上手(^_^)

  • it's not track 06 it's track 10! and btw what does the 06 stand for? The track number? If it is, it's wrong.

  • it's not a track number it's a number of an album

  • okay, but then why dont write Album 06 or just skip the album number at all..?

  • Look it's so easy album number, name of the album, year of the album and on the next line name of the song. You should check out my profile and see playlists.

  • I know.... but why even write it? Personally I am not interested of what album number is is.

    /samps

  • yes but someone is

  • Here's the full key:

    Album number - album title

    Year of release

    Song title

  • Beautiful. :'-)

  • i love the sound of the guitars at 2:32

the song is very beautiful but that effect make it have a kind of a dark side of the song(in a way)

  • Such a beautiful song my true love... Moonlight... Let the candle always burn... XXX

  • Cool!

  • this song is track 10, not 6...

  • simplesmente queen que dizer mais 5 estrelas

  • The number is the track on the album, accompanied by the title of the album, and finally, the name of the song. This song is actually track 10 on the album, not track 6.

  • oh sorry I didn't saw your comment so I said the same thing. ;)

  • amazing!!!!!!!

  • Sem palavras....

Somente para provar a versatilidade da banda.

    O Queen soube inovar!

  • hermosaaa

  • I love this song it is such a pretty tune and lyrics.

Thank you for putting all of the queen songs on youtube

  • ahah thanks i had completely forgotten this beautiful song

  • The ultra feeling song!!!!!

  • lol first i thougt "teo torriatte" was a name ^^ =P

  • What a good song.

  • :____)

  • the japanese chorus is just the english one translated, my cousin told me

  • this was such a hit in Japan because like many other groups (cheaptrick is one) they weren't always in great demand in their home countries plus the Japanese seem to love rock.

  • I so have to have this song played at my funeral!

  • Nuu!! it's playing at mine >.<!!

  • i luv it! but realy, teo torriatte is no. 10, not no.6!!!

  • can somebody tell me about the japanese lyrics? what is the meaning on of that chorus?

    thanx u

  • japanese chorus = english chorus

  • all i can tell you is that, first this song was only released in japan it charted at #49.I'm a 100% sure that teo torriate means let us all clinge together and that the english lyrics in the chorus are repeated in japanese

  • it's the same as the English, only in Japanese

  • I think the 06 stands for 1976 even though that is already written on it

  • why on earth would it use 06 for 1976?

  • I think it's what track it was on the album.

  • correction, its what album it was on.

  • 06 stands for the album number, check out my profile playlists

  • Oh okay that makes sense :)

    Thanks

  • I love this song and on my album Teo Torriatte is number Ten not number six.... weird O.o;; my number six is Somebody to Love..

  • Were is is number six? :S

  • what are you talking about? Number six is Somebody to Love number ten is Teo Torriatte(Let Us Cling Together)

  • I think that the 6 stands for the 6th album

  • A Day at the Races was the fifth album...

  • WLQ Online Music includes a Live at the Beeb album as 02...day at the races was the fifth studio album...

  • 06 stands for the album number, check out my profile playlists

  • This music is ftw!!!

  • INCREDIBLE SONG!

  • It's a shame, that most of society knows Queen by Bohemian Rhapsody,We Will Rock You,and We Are The Champions!

  • true...all too true...

  • when i'm gone!

  • Agreed. Woot second post.
