If you felt the need to diminish his enthusiasm with criticism, perhaps it does speak to feelings of envy. Judaism is not evil; your anger is addressed to specific Jews. Being Jewish in the higher reaches of media or any business is not evil; some of these people are likely to be good, some bad. Saying "instigated by Jews" is different than saying "instigated only by Jews".
