@snowydro1 scuba diving equipment is heavy and it is dangerous to stand on the edge of the boat, or attempt to jump. Also the force of the water hitting you face first might knock off your mask, snorkel or reg.

@snowydro1 have you ever worn all of that gear? its heavy as hell. just "jumping" might hurt you. therefore they "fall" in backwards. this helps to make sure their regulator, mask, or something else doesn't come off.

@VilleIsTheShit Your question is answered by reading the name of the video. "Newly flooded meadow" means that it was recently flooded. This video was probably done right after a big storm that flooded that area. You can see numerous benches and signs through out the video.
