I love how he says 'no strings' after the bridge and the piano tech just deals with it, I've often wandered the piano tech lip reads stuff like from so far across the stage.Fascinates me.
Me too. When Elt added "Skyline Pigeon" to his regular band set list I was exstatic. He heard "us"! However his show here got canceled to my hard luck.
And, as opposed with his earlier Ray shows, we'll be able to hear these songs on CD - with his Concert Live contract. So this is amazing... I wasn't a big fan of Elton's live repetoire just a month ago, but now he's changed. Lovely set list... I'm thankful - so thankful! :-)
Great! I was afraid he'd left out "The Emperor's New Clothes" - he must keep that one! Hopefully he'll add "You Gotta Love Someone", "First Episode at Hienton" and "It's Getting Dark in Here" later... Can't keep from dreaming, right? :-)
I think the setlist will stay the same for this tour. Maybe when they are touring again, they will do one of the songs you mentioned too?!?!? You'll never know and I have to say, I was so surprised to get to hear so many rarities!!
This was my favourite track on Captain and the Kid, a good album. The new album The Union is brilliant, best since the mid 70s
