C.I.S had a parlement of there members, who acted faster and in the better intrests of the people, also backing the C.I.S is the fact they held little for the ways for companys and banks, it just happend to be run by an evil guy who hired evil generals to make them look evil.

@rjwqiup Yes, but the real dictator was Palpatine, which I don't like at all. Grievous and partly Dooku actually wanted to help the CIS planets towards secession.

@Sismiques You're right about that, but their military was similar, and their "ideaology" was similar, to stop the oppression of the Republic (or in the Soviet case the Russian Empire) and wanted to end their bureaucracy and corruption. It's not really a political comparison, more like a military comparison.

@FighterGuDude3214 Grievous insane? No way, General Grievous was the face of the Confederacy of many of the Republic citizens. Thanks to him Duro, Humbarine and many other systems fell during Operation Durge's Lance. He also helped Togoria to secede from the Republic. And if you learn about the past of Grievous you know why he has such hatred against the Jedi and the Republic. Grievous is in no way insane.

Uuuummmm, why would the CIS use the soviet national anthem which bashes Capitalism? It's major backers are galactic corporations like the Trade Federation, Banking Clan and various others. If anything, it could be argued that the Republic is more prone to socialism given that it became the empire and because at the war's end, they nationalized all the pro-CIS corporations and their holdings.

@girlgarde Well, I'm a Communist/Socialist, but the CIS was my favorite faction in Star Wars before I went "Red". I chose the anthem just because of the tune, and I like the 1977 Soviet Anthem because it describes my ideals.
