@suezn5 Yes, I do eventually have a verbal cue, but in the beginning I do not put a behavior on a cue until the dog is doing it well then I add the cue when they know the behavior. The leg weave is on a cue of "legs" or "through" or with a hand motion and sometimes just the way that I set them up to weave the legs. My dogs read my body language extremely well as do most dogs. Hope that helps!
@pamelamarxsen Yes, it does help! Your hand motions can be so subtle with your dogs, I can't pick them up. I'd love to see you do a vid of your you showing verbal and hand cue for a bunch of tricks. Maybe Emily would work the camera zoom--each trick once at full trainer/dog distance and then again close just showing your hand. I feel like I know you two women personally after watching all your work on youtube. Hope I haven't overstepped:)
@suezn5 No you have not overstepped! I would love to do something like that, but my list of things to do right now is so long! So, I will add it to the list. :)
Is there a verbal or hand signal for this trick? Or, is spreading your legs wide cue enough?

At the end, why do you click when the dog is looking away?

@anniequilts I was clicking him for looking at my cat and being calm. I click for good behavior around the cat.

Lovely video - I especially loved the bit where dear Bandit is sitting in the door way while little Twix is busy learning - excellent :-)
