I'm surprised PANIC! even made it to the States! Games like this just don't come over here to America. After playing PANIC! I can see why. They have that weird factor that is entertaining, but eventually you wonder why anyone would want to play it.
actually, i saw the original episode. this guy, Kumai (i believe that's his last name) did fight a thug. he tried to fight him, but ended up getting a broken arm. but, he was still proud of himself.

Ok, this is about the Salesman offering to "fill in the gaps in your heart". its a mostly a re-creation of the original anime series.
This guy (with glasses) probably lost in the serires.
Its like "Sound Novel" games. the story can have a good ending according to your choices.

I could be wrong, but i think this is Japan's answer to those tedious Myst games for the PC. It's just an "interactive comic" rather than a game.
