  • I went to the site, made an account (including verifying it obviously), refreshed the page, got up a whole other page, logged out and logged back in, and I still can't find a button to sign the petition!

  • They gotta shut up cuz pagans do deserve right we all human

  • I would also get the Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Jains to support you. They are under the branch of Dharmic religions. I'm sure they will want to help as well.

  • We did it. We got 5000 and it's only the 23rd. We can still keep getting them until the 25th, But technically we've made the deadline.

  • Not being a US citizen, can I still sign the petition?

  • All religions are worthy of 1rst amendment protection. I will sign it, I am very passionate when it comes to freedom of religion.

  • consider it signed. The Wall Builders are Domionists and they are scary fuckers looking to herald in the End Times. I am not kidding. Devchelle2 did a series of videos on them.

  • Ok I signed it thanks!

  • The site won't let me create an account. How can i do that.

  • @intheeyesofwoman Try using a different browser. I used Google Chrome and it worked for me.

  • @BlueFireWitch Got it.

  • I tried to sign but i can't signup for an account. the pass code box is just of my screen and i cant type it in.

  • Where the heck do I sign? I went to the site and I sont see it

  • @PinkLeopard80s Check the link in the description. If it doesn't come up, refresh. They update the site frequently.

  • I have attempted to log in to this site to sign this petition, and there is nothing coming up about it.

  • I signed the petition. The wall builders I bet are being backed by the Illuminati.

  • @Crystalwolf78 I don't know about that. But I do think they are backed by Glenn Beck and the ultra conservative right.

  • If that ever becomes law, then the United States is one step closer to becoming more like Pakistan,Saudi Arabia, and other similar countries. I'm sure your founding fathers never meant that to happen.

    Good video.

  • @CanadianoftheCoast And I'd probably be meandering across that northern border...

  • @BlueFireWitch Well, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it ever comes down to it, just ask what the men and women in uniform from both our countries and abroad were doing in Afghanistan if not attempting to secure more religious freedom. The very act of trying to isolate any one religion is an affront to all who have served and is decidedly un-American, not to mention un-Canadian. Blessed be, sister.

  • Hello, we are Anonymous. We haven't reached 5000 votes for our petition, and you haven't reached 5000 votes. How about we strike a deal? Check out the latest video in my channel showing a link to our petition, which encourages the US government to investigate the fraud and abuse of the Church of Scientology. Scientology is not a religion, but a global scam that calls itself a religion to avoid taxes. It is a mockery of what real minority religions are (such as Paganism).

  • I signed the petition.

  • We'll I was finally able to sign the petition lol.

  • have any ways Canadians or people from other countries can help? One of the reasons why I want to help is because the Prime Minister of Canada Steven Harper is similar to George Bush.

  • @Genin99 Good Gods, having any president that resembles George Bush is bad. At least you still have your healthcare-we're jealous.. As for what you can do-spread the word. There's probably not much your government would do, however you can go on facebook and social networking sites and promote the cause. You can also help educate people as to why this affects them. Some think I'm being alarmist, but I've read the court documents, it's very possible we could lose our rights.

  • @BlueFireWitch Thx for your sympathy to make matters worse Canada doesn't have that 2 term max like you guys do and Steven Harper is allowed to run for as many terms as long as he's stays the leader of his political party. So I'll just feel thankful that I have health care, express my sympathy that what my country has is a luxury in your country and see what else I can do with this other problem your country has.

  • @BlueFireWitch I just thought of another way I can help talk about this case at a meeting of the Pagan Club that I'm a member of at the Community collage I go to.

  • @Genin99 Yup. We have a George Bush wannabe with a majority government now because 39% of the voters didn't show up last election.

The best thing that people can do to help, even across borders, is to speak up, vote, and take affirmative non- violent action to create a new social/political/economic structure that is more in support of all people.

  • @CanadianoftheCoast you're so right, maybe my college pagan club is step 1 in spreading the word and the rest of my local pagan community could be step 2.

  • @Genin99 The more talking, and community involvement the better. The more people who see that we are just normal people and not the sinister bringers of doom that we are portrayed as, the less likely religious zealots will be able to suppress our rights in any country.

  • hmmmm, makes you think, just how liberated are we ? It is disgusting that still after centuries in many aspects we are no closer to religious freedom than before. I will sign despite being in Australia.

  • @CrystalsMusings It actually does change alot of things. First, if you watched the first video, I explain that although the court case calls it Wicca, they specifically state in court documents that they are referring to all Pagan religions. Secondly, you're really missing the point. Before 1986, when Wicca wasn't a protected religion, people could be fired from their jobs, etc., for being Wiccan. We could go back to that depending on the way a verdict in a Federal Court is ruled upon.

  • @narutospearman What good is that for others who do not identify as Wiccan?

  • For a country supposedly founded on religious freedoms we sure do not have them in all cases...

  • "... the Conservative Christian Dominionist group... is arguing that religions like Wicca are not worthy of being protected by the First Amendment."

    ...

"Congress shall make NO LAW RESPECTING AN ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION, OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."--1st Ammendment

Nope. I don't see a "Unless your Pagan" clause.

  • Well aint this lovely? (sarcasam)

Time to fight, fight and fight! Although I am worried about how fast some Pagans wanna go belly up to the Religious Reich.

  • I try to make an account so I can sign the petition but it doesn't go anyway it just keeps doing the loading.

  • Thank you for doing this! I am signing the petition and I have retweeted the link to the petition and I will also be posting it on facebook too.

  • I would sign it if I could but it looks like a only American petition and I'm Canadian

  • @narutospearman Watch the other video, Pagan Rights in Danger for more information.

  • @narutospearman It was, but if a court reverses that decision and decides that Wicca is not a recognized religion then we lose those rights. They want the court to take away those rights because they argue that this country never meant to recognize religions with Witchcraft as religions.

  • That is absurdly stupid... Whatever happen to the right to religious freedom? Bigoted bastards really...

Even if I don't share your belief this is just absurd in the highest degree. It is an obvious violation of the freedom of religion.

  • Signed and retweeted :)

  • It won't let me make an account to sign the petition :(

  • @holylight12 I got right in. What is the problem?

  • Signed.

  • The word "Bar" should be capitalized.. thought I would point that out.

  • @calciumblue actually no, it's a continuation of a sentence. The petition said President Obama should.... So it's correct grammatical formation.
