What Shotokan lineage is your club from? JKA lineage goes way back to the fifties, when Funakoshi was still alive. You could even view a few old clips of theirs from that time and compare training then to today's style. I thin it's improved since then. So what exactly do you mean?
dude, this looks like karate. but i agree it ain't exactly traditional karate rules. they all look like legitimate karate/traditional japanese techniques and styles though. it might be an open tournament or something of that nature.
i hate the jka they take the shotokan out and replace traditional karate with bullshit
