  • Hey dude, very nice setup, very trippy sounds. What do you use to sample & loop? Is it possible to change effects and leave the looping piece with the sound it was recorded with or will the sound of it also change as soon as you change effects? Thanks a lot!

  • no more big timeline?

  • @777jordan Nope. :( The little one beat it out of a job.

  • you are rad man! I wish i could collaborate with you haha.. any way keep up the chill sounds

  • @MrNickDrums Thanks a ton! Maybe we can collaborate someday.

  • great work bub, just wondering tho,how much does that board weigh and do you take it to gigs or do you have a "lighter" set up?

  • @OBS1Di0N Ya, I do take this one to gigs. I had Brady Cases built me the board and cover out of polypropelene, which is strong but also crazy light. So the weight is really just from whatever pedals I have on it at the time, and it has wheels, so it's not too bad. :)

  • Nice movement and swells

  • @onmas59 Thanks!!

  • Your board is like a WWI trench! Love it.

  • @777jordan haha Ya, I guess it could double as a barricade. :)

  • Karl this is beautiful.

  • @BlackAdderLXX Thanks so much! :)

  • At some point you have to consider.....

spend 10k on pedals < spend 10k on the poor

  • @holleyab - or you could just enjoy the music without judging the guy's life. Maybe God uses him to bless other worship leaders so they in turn bless their congregations, which inspires people to help the poor because of their obedience to Christ.

  • @holleyab You are absolutely correct! :) I don't have gobs of money (most of my gear was bought used, given as gifts, or paid for by not getting new tires on my poor old car, haha), so the goal for me is to be able to find good deals on music gear, make music with it, and use the proceeds from that music to be able to support more charities than if I never bought the gear in the first place. Feel free to contact me if you'd like me to help support the charity you work for. :) Cheers!

  • @holleyab At some point you have to consider....

Spending money on the computer that allowed you to make a snarky comment < Spending that money on the poor ;)

It's all relative. You can have nice things and still give charitably.

  • what do you call the little slide things you were doing with your hands at 2:45 or so? and what pedal are you running for that kind of stuff?

  • @foralifetime7 I don't really have a name for it...guitar caressing maybe? haha When I do that, I have my normal swell pedal settings on (long delay, short analog delay, medium mix reverb), but I also add a really washy setting phaser, and usually some sort of fuzz or overdrive so that it stands out in the mix a bit more, as its a very low volume effect. :)

  • Dude, your finger looks funny picking the guitar like that. hehehe

  • @cosmogang hehehe I was waiting for ya! :D

  • @Passenger95 thank God it had wheels. Seriously, when it came in, i couldn't believe the size of it. I just wanted a flight case pedalboard and i got that for cheap at 125 bucks...i don't have that many pedals...but i plan to fill it out. i love ambient music, you my friend are a genius.

  • @Whippitcool Wow, that's a great deal! And thanks for the kind words. :)

  • This is so beautiful! Been following you for a while. Keep up the excellent work!

  • @AlexMNet Thanks so much!

  • It looks like mini staircase lol but that beside the point. This piece of music is absolutely amazing! The recurring solo from the 1:50 mark is so haunting. Extremely well done job.

  • @666jony666 Thanks so much for the kind words! And yes...it does look like a staircase. I used it to take the Christmas lights down.

  • Very well done Karl, and I find it pretty interesting that all of your songs are companion songs :D

  • @Bt2BreakSkn Thanks, bro!! :)

  • @Passenger95 Anytime! I might produce trance music, but where I get my inspirations from, can vary, you, being one of those inspirations.

  • @Bt2BreakSkn <3 Too kind, man.

  • @Passenger95 Naa bein' honest! And I thank you!

  • Nice Karl! Has Crosspoint brought on a roadie yet to lug your gear around?! Haha!

  • @Cobys6 Nah, I love lugging it around! haha :)

  • Love it! I got the same size of pedal board, didn't what i was getting into honestly, it's too big.

  • @Whippitcool haha Did you get one with wheels, or are you huffin' it?

  • man, this pedalboard is HUGE!

  • @WojtekRamone This is unfortunately true. ;)

  • Amazing !

  • @UPharaoh Thanks! <3
