I love this vid. I really think it depicts what would have been the perfect triangle so beautifully. More importantly, it's relatively true to form. Brooke unwilling/unable to open her heart up again because of Lucas' impact (both romantically and platonically) on her. He taught her how to love, how to appreciate the little joys and moments in life. And Brooke showed Lucas how to let go of things he can't change. She showed him that he needed to not take everything for granted, she made

him want to be a better man, etc. And I think it's that profound impact that made it impossible for her to move on and it's why she also can't give her heart to anyone else. Because of that impact, that love that she found with him. Everything and everyone else pales in comparison. I also think that Lucas has locked away those memories. It was evident how close they were to resurfacing at the end of S5. I believe he keeps them hidden because he knows if they were to resurface,

his resolve, his facade of being okay with it would crumble and he would still be in just as fragile a state as he was when she broke up with him all those years ago.  Those lost, lonely feelings would resurface and so I think he looks elsewhere because he knows what's safe, what's factual, which is his relationship with Peyton. I think he loves her but he looks to that love as sort of his saving grace, because he knows what would happen if his feelings for Brooke were to reappear.

Getting back to this vid, though, I think it's clearly depicted that from each of their viewpoints and I think deep down, Julian knows it. He knows how BL feel, he sees it. He knows that he is and will always be second best because of that profound impact. I love this vid, the editing, the overall storyline. Favoriting and a definite five star rating!:D
