While he may have been under hypnosis; Seymour's guilt still seemed to surface no matter what. I think that when it comes down to it; Seymour will always keep a deal with the devil. Everything does seem a bit rushed but there is always time to squeeze in the the action. Seymour doesn't even try to face his problems like a man whenever he is confronted. His character seems to be inconsistant; he is often vrave and than loses it. The rest of the chracter seem more consistant.
I love this scene because it contains a blooper. Watch the lady's scarf - it keeps changing position! First over both shoulders, then over the left shoulder only, then on the right arm only, then back over the left shoulder - during split second cut-aways! Classic! :-)
