@MissSusieQue1 Completing my comment: Although they can't know for sure the authorities (always regarding Mitch as a protective father of his daughter) declared Amy's death to be an accident. For his relief Mitch wants to believe that, of course (but in his heart there must still be doubts).

So, you see, it's not Blake having his wife introduced to drugs, what it is about. Mitch is a jealous guy! That's my view.

@MissSusieQue1: Hi, Blake left alcoholic Amy first and gave her the advice to go to rehab (Amy wrote "Rehab" then). When Amy and Blake got together again, Mitch couldn't play the main role in Amy's life anymore. Pretending to fight Blake's bad drug influence on Amy, the jealous MItch did everything to get his daughter away from her husband. He must have felt guilty therefore (and lost weight), because Amy could have committed suicide as a result of his manipulative influence on her life.

I know Amy was spoiled by her father...and he had a big influence on her musically..but he was there trying to "run interference", as much as a parent can without the knowledge of Al-anon...or what have you.....He didnt just throw her to the wolves..you have to remember..AMy was a dead on alky...we tend to be hard headed, stubborn, creative, self distructive, ultra sensitive....explain. .....SQ1

@kitkatkrazy22 Amy was a troubled person as Blake was, when they found each other and married. It's Amy's father who wants us to make this one a culprit and that one his victim. Fighting drug addiction as a pretext Mitch fought actually his daughter's marriage. Her rapid decline began, when Blake had eventually been brought to divorce. Amy's stage performances went downhill until she was found dead. Keeping all eyes focussed on drug addiction Mitch can ignore his deadly influence on Amy's life.

@22Tiger222 ~ Dont you realize that alcoholism only gets worse, never better. Its a progressive disease...and yes, alcohol is a drug. Ive heard Mitch many times..of course he hated Blakes part, but he knows it wasn't just him. Its the "Ipso facto" effect....he just wished Blake never entered the picture. We seek out what is familiar to us...hence "He's the male version of me" ..Amy's words.......Mitch is no dummy and with Amy's mom being a pharmacist...Im sure they had some heated discussions.

@narutohappy Amy was an alcoholic already when she met Blake. Read the lyrics of "Rehab", "Wake up alone" or "Just Friends". Watch the vid "On the couch with Amy Winehouse"! But did she become an alcoholic accidentally? Listen guys: There was a man in Amy's life who has done harm to her soul in her early years (and later likely to her marriage with Blake)! You want to know who this man is? Amy tells about him in her songs! So once again: Blake is a scapegoat!

@22Tiger222 She wasn't a saint before she met Blake. She liked to drink but did less harmfel drugs. She has admitted several times that Balke introduced her to hard core drugs. Besides, the heart-break she endured caused her to drink more heavily. Is Blake completely to blame? Partially.... Amy was sensitive and Blake fucked her up even more.

I agree with 22Tiger222.. he was made a scapegoat.. he was honest and told parents etc that he'd got her onto certain drugs ..hows that not many guys i know would own up to that one.. eh.. would you guys own up. They were mad for each other and i believe Amy would still be alive today if he was out and they were still together.. The pressure for them to part from parent s at their age .. what were they thinking ..parents .. your blame to bear..

Of course, she´s made all the guys jealous on Blake. That´s why they condemn him without really knowing enough about the kind of relationship, Amy and Blake have had. If Blake had been such a material guy, why should he have divorced Amy? And why did he not claim an amount of her fortune? Don´t make Blake a scapegoat! He was a conflicted person as Amy was.

If you have nothing to say don't say anything at all. Amy Winehouse was an amazing artist despite her troubled personal life. We all have bad days and we all have demons but unfortunately her bad days lasted longer than most. We need to separte her personal life from her captivating talent and move on. I don't think it's fair that people are making nasty comments about her giving that everything they know is what is portrayed in the media. R.I.P babes.. I will miss you..
