well there powersuits act as body armour so when they wear the light version of the armour they cant go underwater and they cant be droped from the pods. plus the armour isnt as good. they can also carry mor nades and nukes so who cares. i would rather wear the power suit.

hey i love the series and all those who uploaded it but one problem on hydora goss said that if your power suit goes in water about your head for more than 3 mins it shuts down thats why they had the floation device how come they can swim about now (i remember the merauders can survive under water but i thought power suit couldnt be used for prolonged ammounts of time under water)

Red Vs. Blue is nothing like this, it's a comedy and Halo definitely drew inspiration from this show. If the parallels in suit design aren't enough evidence, the fact that Bungie has said that Starship Troopers was an inspiration should be (admittedly, I assume they mean the book).

Master Chief's Mojnir Armor is more based on this version's take of it then the books. In the books the suit was huge, and would have resembled the dropship armor more than what they actually wear. Not I think Halo took most of it's designs directly from this, and not the book.
