If you compare EXACTLY the same riff instead of changing amps everytime you change riffs the comparison would be a lot clearer. If you skip from the first riff to the same riff on the axe fx at 1:03 you can hear how different the tones are. They are different to my ears. The 5150 sounds fuller and deeper. Also a little thicker and more complex in the mids. Very close though and wouldn't be that noticeable in a full mix. An EQ match on the axe fx may close the gap even more but I'm not sure. Chur
The Axe Fx sounds just a tad brighter but other than that there isn't much difference :D

The 5150 is fatter and thicker. The Axe Fx II is an amazing for a modeller though even though it still doesn't match with the real head :P
