The first time I hear this piece. Isnt it the same theme as Im dreaming of a white Christmas?

i'm very grateful to hear this. i find it to be a very interesting and in some ways compelling interpretation. gould is expert at helping to clarify and cause me to hear things i've never heard before. none the less i still prefer richter's reading of this piece. this is more dramatic, and not always in a good way. the richter seems more organic. some of these tempo fluctuations are distracting. richter's reading has an inevitability. check it out.
