it can be really easy, and it can be difficult. it can be complicated, and it can be a breeze. To minimize songwriting to your description is degrading - maybe miley writes her songs like that. not everything is so formulaic as you are suggesting.
You need to to get past it. They write great songs because they have great ideas for songs ......... You dont and wont ...... If your still looking for the "FORMULA" to writing a great song like they say in the back of the magazine ........ Look some where else.

What you see in this video is a true professional. The reporter can't keep up, because stevie is such a pro even at this point, that few could relate. This is the third interview I have seen of Stevie Nicks. This woman Never smiles. Even in the 80's she fought trying to hide her emotions. In conclusion, she is MUCH more beautiful now than when she was younger. I love the mature bloomed look that she is now. But I never saw a full smile. I guess it has to do with being in an interview. Most musicians hate interviews. Freddie Mercury was another one who hated interviews. Its obvious that her devotion and true emotions belongs to her fans.

What you see in this video is a true professional. The reporter can't keep up, because stevie is such a pro even at this point, that few could relate. This is the third interview I have seen of Stevie Nicks. This woman Never smiles. Even in the 80's she fought trying to hide her emotions. In conclusion, she is MUCH more beautiful now than when she was younger. I love the mature bloomed look that she is now. But I never saw a full smile. I guess it has to do with being in an interview. Most musicians hate interviews. Freddie Mercury was another one who hated interviews. Its obvious that her devotion and true emotions belongs to her fans.

It could be that Stevie (who I hear is a very private person) didn't want to discuss things like drug use, divorces and break-ups. So whats left to discuss... song writing, clothes and hair. I thought the line of questioning was pretty "soft ball". but I enjoyed watching it. I think that a lot of fans really beleve that Stevie is some sort of mystic creature and get upset when they see that she's only human.
