a little out of tune, it started off in key but gradually flattened in pitch during the course of the piece. take great care in staying in tune.watch for all directions from the conductor!
@Lythforce Sad, but true. The notes are high enough that the women tend to sound a little juvenile.
Once in a while though, we do find recordings where the women have tall enough vowels that the screeching disappears. :) Those are beautiful. The women then add a haunting quality that men would have difficulty achieving. I'm still keeping my eyes and ears out.
Translation: O all ye who pass by on the road, stay, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow. Stay, all ye peoples of the world, and behold my sorrow.
they are really good!! Very impressed!! I have to sing O Vos Omnes by de Victoria for High School state honors choir auditions. Is this composed by him???
UnAshamed2010, please investigate some studies regarding camera work and sound recording. For the stuff you have to work with, you are doing a phenomenal job. I would LOVE to hear/see what you'd capture with some pro equipment. You have a gift... you have shared with us some of the best that Asbury College has to offer the world but you're not even working for them (as a publicist). Maybe you should be. You bless us all. MORE, please. :) Thanks!
Thanks for your enocouragment. I was sitting in the 2nd row during the Homecoming concert and this was taped on my old digital camera. sorry it's not of the best quality, but I still enjoy going back and watching/listening to it!
Thomas Louis De Victoria è secondo me il miglior compositore del periodo, veramente bello leggerlo e cantarlo
