My TZ5 has a problem at first the battery would not work well because all the time the camera would turn off and you would have to move the battery and wait and wait then after some time when you would take photos the camera write when you took the photo it would turn off so now i confirm my self with my itouch 4g till i get a Sony NEX 5N yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!11

does it record video continously or is there a 8-10 minute limit per video? i might just get this even if there is a limit just for the 10x optical alone. thanks.

The video recording has a limit of 10 mins, and the zoom goes 5x digital after u pass the 10x optical.

thanks for the reply. i've heard the US and Japan models of this camera don't have the 10 min limit and record continously until it runs out of card space. don't know how true that is so i'm trying to find out. your HD videos from it look great though so most likely i'll get it.

The only thing i can suggest is if u import the video into iMovie, you can raise the volume on the audio. You can then export it into a file format of ur choice afterwards. Hope that helps.

iv got a tz5 and it is absolutly amazing! i got an 8gb sandisk ultra2 memory card 4 about £13

id advise you 2 get a spare battery cuz the battery life isnt amazing! it got a spare battery 4 about £10 from anazon 2!

so how is the picture quality on this camera. Ive heard that noise is a big problem on this camera. Im not sure if i should go with this camera or the fujifilm f100fd.
