Good god, what a piss poor review. I appreciate you taking the time to do this, but next time, some room for improvement: Have the figure ready for transformation, know what the crap you're talking about, glance once at your final thoughts text to remove egregious errors, and edit so it isn't 90% blather.

i just got mine. his right shoulder is the blue color of the rest of his body.....and the left one is red....he also has a paint flaw under his eye. this pissed me off greatly.
I love the toy, and it looks like it will be on my bookshelf protecting it from Autobot scum as soon as it's released. The only issue I have is the blue colorscheme. I'd like to see the purple, maroon, gray, and black from the cartoon, but that can be solved with some paint it isn't changed with the store release. =)

I agree. Im a huge Transformers Movie series action figure fan, but this one doesnt seem too bad. However, packaging is half the fun - the quality of packaging can make or break a line of toys. I keep a lot of my toys unopened in their boxes. Ones I want to play with I plan on buying doubles. I love my toys ;) At the moment I can afford it, maybe I will have to change this way of buying when I go back to uni and don't work full time. Cheers MatrixPrime
He's not backwards. Like Norc1nu said, they make a lot of jets with the wings forward swept like that nowadays. It helps with low-speed maneuvering. However, they are more unstable (just like Starscream! XD) depending on how far forward they are swept.

Thundercracker/starscream, what's the diff? The cartoon Jet, when looked at the Wiki site or the official Hasbro site is Blue. BTW, he is not painted, he is cast in BLUE PLASTIC.
Good review. Got mine today and I've just a few pointers. The knee pops out from the leg making him very easy to pose. The jet to robot transformation is almost completely automatic - just pull down the legs and hold the front fuselage and the arms will extend and the head emerges by themselves.
i think the panel is for some kind of super flying mode or a back sword juz in case some enemies jump from behind and he can juz fly off and slash the enemy into 3 slices...
pritty cool starscream but i think the legs r supose to be turned around like regullar joints in the leg but it also looks cool that way also so no harm done but just a little tip and i think the back panels r for if hes like running or flying in robot mode he can jump or cut into another bot from the back like a dive tackle lol
the official stated time period is June for the US, this date was also included on a recently released product catalog in the new movie toys. With the onslaught of figures on eBay though, especially those in their packaging, everyone is thinking it may be sooner than June.
What other transformers animated figures are you doing? Cause I saw in the series, that megatron is tricking prof. sumdacc into building him a new body. I would like to see the figure for that.

The way it transforms, it reminds me of Voyager Megatron. I might get this figure just because its starscream, and it looks pretty cool, even though I dont like the animated series.

I like how the nose folds inside while transforming. I just checked out all the new action figures from the new animated series and I think this is the best looking one right now.
