Shut the fuck up. He shred on an ACOUSTIC guitar, and this is the cleanest sound on acoustic guitar when shredding on it. What cleaner sound, watch other video in which people shred on electric guitars. Electric guitars have much lighter strings, low action, which makes it much easier to shred !

Fast, yeah, but unclear, as mentioned before. Speed itself is not a difficult thing to attain, but accuracy is. Train at a slower speed first.

good speed but definitely need to clean it up. Sure shred can be musical, but this isn't. So obviously this is meant as a show of technical ability.... the problem with that is the technique isnt very good, because every other note is chopped or muted. Just clean it up a little. :)

It's just a demonstration of speed. He might or might not have a sense of dynamics. We wouldn't know without watching a different video. I only felt I should respond, because the "it doesn't sound good" response (which you'll find along with any video of someone shredding at full speed) either misses the point or is an indication of jealousy. It's like complaining that a speed skater isn't skating like a figure skater.

you can play fast, but my advice is to work on your phrasing. all the teens think to master the guitar you have to play fast.. WRONG. after a while all the fast licks sound the same. listen to some David Gilmour, work on vocal-style phrasing. You're good, but your solos sounds like a guy running around out of breath. use speed to build up or release tension in a solo. use dynamics. you slowed down here some, and to me it was the most listenable parts.

I agree to a point, but I think he shows abilities beyond just playing fast. Most shred licks sound alike unless you're really talented and know how to vary them up. I think this guy but was just trying to play around and play as fast as possible here. As you said, the slower parts he did were listenable, and that's why I think he's capable of more.
