I live near this base and the AF has concluded the pilots screwed up. Punishment is being determined at this time. They broke regulations and endangered thousands of people, impressive as the display may have seemed.

More than a few pilots have been killed here doing equally careless things and a T-38 augured in about a1/2 mile from where I worked some years ago. That one plane created a 1000 foot fireball and burnt 4 houses so consider the effect on a crowed stadium.

How freaking cool is that. I have been to Daytona speedway when they have had low fly overs like that and it's the biggest thrill in the world!! I live in Iowa City, but didn't attend the game that day, boy I wish I would have!!!
