To me Hinduism is very often the most open minded religion on earth & most peaceful. Nearly 1 human out of 7 is Hindu, so?? Poeple should talk more about it!!! & join the Sankirtan! Jay Shri Hanuman! @simoom37 you are right, but keep one thing in mind that Hinduism is certainly NOT a religion.

Hinduism has not a "creator" like christianity (jesus) Islam (mohammed) Budhism (goutam) etc. So it is not considered as a religion. Hinduism is a way of live; it is always evolving and adopt many ways of thinking. Be proud to be a Hindu. It is peaceful; it reflects also in the lifestyle of the hindustanis in the course of the history.

In fact everybody is a born Hindu.

@26121944 It depends on what one considers being a "religion". To me a religion means a way to reach God.. In that sense Buddhism is not a religion, it is a doctrine. Yet, sorry, but, Hinduism is... I am Gaudiya Vaishnav follower & we believe in God, in fact we even recognise HIs words in Bhagavad Geeta, in which He Himself says he created the world. I agrre that the hindu view is not that of a one & only creation, but a cycle creation/conservation/destruct­ion. It remains nonetheless a religion

Toutes deux découlent d'une sainte trinité (le père, le fils et le saint Esprit dans le christianisme / Brahma, Shiva et Vishnu dans l'hinduisme).
