SERIOUSLY diamonds used to be all over africa yall done took that now diamonds are HIgh. you destroy everything

  • Shea butter is white, ivory or beige. The yellow butter is actually a different kind of butter called African Butter. If you get it yellow its either been dyed yellow or is actually African Butter not shea butter. Shea butter has been marketed wrong as yellow when in fact it is actually white, ivory or beige. DuchessGabrielle makes it pretty clear in her video so just check it out.

  • yellow, white, ivory, beige. When it's all said and done, the sellers are laughing all the way to the bank and the laborers are slaving 24/7 working under the conditions of dinosaur technology.

  • UNREFINED SHEA BUTTER IS YELLOW. "Most shea butter available to the general public outside West Africa is white and odorless: in other words, it has been "refined" to remove the natural scent and color of natural shea butter. In the process, the majority of the effective agents are also removed. For example, the yellow tint of unrefined shea butter is due to the Vitamin A content. Remove this color, and the beneficial vitamins have also been removed."

  • I nought a big tub of unrefined shea butter 3 years ago. It still has the same smell and texture. Is it still good to use?

  • Thank you!

  • @pastorstraw thanks as long as it does justice which it did I made a hair butter with it.

  • I just brought some shea butter for a muslim african guy who has a stand , and it was raw shea butter and it is white with a smoky smell. I think shea butter is also very gritty.

  • @nicoleahamilton Shea is often white and sometimes kind of tan in color. It all smells "funky" except the refined stuff. That is white and odorless, more or less. Whether refined or unrefined, it all seems to be beneficial.

  • Do you hink L'Occitane's '100% shea butter' has been refined?

  • This dude is kinda awesome, lol

  • I don't know what to think now. some say that it should be off white, some say it should be yellow. Well I got some off of ebay and I think I got ripped off, but it's too late for me to return it as I have already opened it and started using it. Mine is pure white, but on the description it said it would be yellow and unrefined. So I guess I got ripped off because it's white, so does that mean it is actually refined? Why would someone sell it saying it was yellow but give it to me as white?

  • actually it can range from beige to yellow(mostly) or darker brownish like. my parents have a little urban store and they order from african ppl who get directly from africa, well thats the only place u can get it really. when they get it it acually comes in that big nut casing and it smells. not like a bad smell but of oils and what not. but hes not lying (this time, jk:), but my parents warm it just a bit so not to denature it and they package it up and it sells!

  • ppl say that its not yellow and its actually a creamish color tho??????

  • @TRUEFREAKLEzz Shea that is yellow is shea butter that also has the lipids from the tree's flowers added, thus the color and improvement in fragrance. This in no way takes away from the efficacy of the shea butter and in my view is a bonus. You are right though, raw unrefined shea is cream or even brownish in color and funky smelling.

  • Hello pastor straw!!, God bless you. You are feature on my channel page. Love you and God bless you for taking us all BACK TO EDEN!! Rosa

  • @vera747 Secretsofeden com 1-888-820-2126 mention youtube and get extra discount. We sell more organic shea than you can shake a stick at.

  • Pastor, please advise where one gets the real shear butter?

  • @KIMBOJAY Secretsofeden com 1-888-820-2126 mention youtube and get extra discount. We sell more organic shea than you can shake a stick at.

  • Ok, Im getting some mixed info. Another person on here who is from Africa, says, shea butter is not yellow but white. When I was watching another video on how its made, it was also white. Hmmmmm,so what's the truth?

  • @cocowms6 im from west africa and the people who sell the real stuff over there in the market is white.

  • @misskaneza The people is white? or the shea butter?

  • @cocowms6 raw shea is off white sometimes almost brown and smells funky. White is almost always refined and smells a bit better. Yellow is unrefined and has some of the oil from the "flower" of the shea added in as a bonus. In my personal opinion you get more for your money with the yellow, that's why we sell truck loads of it. secretsofeden com

  • @pastorstraw

Everything you say is absolutely incorrect! "Raw" unrefined Shea Butter is an ivory color, NEVER deep yellow. The yellow stuff you have is Kpangnan Butter (from the "African Butter Tree", because it's butter is the color of butter). Kpangnan Butter is also a very good product, though. Very sad there is so much misinformation on this subject!

  • @wallydanger Q: What is the difference between refined and unrefined shea butter?

A: Shea butter, in its natural state, varies in color from a beige to off-white, to a mild yellow, to a bright

yellow, and has a slight nutty/smoky odor to it. When shea butter has been refined, the color and odor is

removed, making it white in color, and odorless.

  • @wallydanger @wallydanger Though nothing is added during this process, which is why it

is still 100% shea butter, by removing the natural color and odor of the butter, some of shea butter's reported

    healing potential is lost.

    Shea Butter History

  • @wallydanger the web page you refer to says "Most shea butter available to the general public outside West Africa is white and odorless, in other words it has been "refined" to remove the natural scent and color of natural shea butter. In the process, the majority of the effective agents are also removed. "...exactly opposite of what you said.

  • @cocowms6 Even the yellow one is white when it's softened and being whipped, but when it sets to solid, it become yellow again. I have used the white and it has a very sensual nutty scent, this let's you know that this is the real deal.

  • @Pastorstraw Hi Pastor Straw. I just purchased some shea butter. It is hard, yellow, and has a quite different yet mild scent. The label says that it is 100% natural. I've seen a few other vids on youtube that said unrefined shea butter is an ivory color, and yellow shea butter has either been dyed or mixed with palm oil. Do you know if this is true? & if it has been mixed with palm oil, will it still work for me? I want to even my skin tone and remove marks. Thanx for your response!

  • Where can one buy the real raw stuff like you have!

  • could raw, unrefined look white also

  • Dear Umb2010 Great question.

Not likely. White is one of the dead giveaways that it is "refined."

  • I swear by the stuff!

  • I was wondering about African black soap. I suffer from mrsa (staph- infections) on the skin now I was told to use anti-bacterial soaps to kill the bacteria on my skin. I wanted to know would it be wise to use black soap.

  • black soap is very good for all minor skin imperfections ..yes yu shoud try it....

  • @tiar1985 @tiar1985 I'm a nurse and I use black soap on my skin. IMO it wud b unwise to use black soap if u suffer from MRSA infections unless u check with a naturopathic doctor who is also willing to work w/ your infectious disease doctor (hopefully u have one if you suffer from MRSA infections). And pls do not listen to silents08 bc what you are dealing with is not a "minor skin imperfection" is a very serious infection that is sometimes difficult to treat.
