This is gonna get thumbs downed with the quickness, but I'm going to add it anyway. She's good. . .for a pop singer doing a broadway musical. Seeing this whole musical live would put things into perspective. LaChanze (from The Color Purple) comes on toward the end of the musical and completely puts ever song Ashanti sings to shame. That's what broadway is supposed to sound like. Ashanti isn't quite there. Of course, she's better than a lot of mainstream RnB singers.
