If you have a lot of money, tangible gold & silver is a good way to store your wealth for when the economy stabilizes and rises out of this current state. If you are currently a working class person making it from check to check, then I wouldn't focus on buying metals. In that case you are correct. Focus on food, farming, and getting out of debt.

However when you print completely off the scale to the economy, when you print to every single problem you have...there is no money, the nation is bankrupt, all they are doing is printing more money and each time its done the value of the currency goes down. just look at gold! 1 trillion was printed in the last 2 weeks. now look at gold in that time.

Hyperinflation notes... some with 100 Trillion printed on them. In all cases where they printed too much money, all countries went into total collapse!
