  • Maybe Oprah is a not a loser but a hero for keep trying for so long. After so much time and effort maybe she needs to consider taking Gene-Eden.

  • what i heard is that tehy exercise 4 hours a day... thats how they lose alot of weight.

  • How are these people losing 5 pounds a week?! 12 weeks into the show they have somehow managed to lose 66 lbs. How is that possible?!

  • I know for a fact that its possible. i did it without being on the show lol. I was really big at 15 and when i turned 16 i came hoe from school and said enough is enough. i worked out for about 5 to 6 hrs a day doing everything dancing sit ups pulls etc and it came off in 3 months and i lost about 97 pds from a size 22 to a 6 and fit an xtra small. ! it take a LOT its like you have to turn into a crazy person.

  • yo your totally right i've been im at that faze you were in, i go to bally for onl;y about 3 hours a day but 6 to 7 days a week, and big tip for all, try not to eat anything white and yellow, (pastas,brads so on) ya i know all the crap teachers docters say o well grains you need the most CRAP! ya if you wanna get fat, and HUGE thing to remeber dont eat after 6pm even if your hungry, if your hungry drink water to trick you stomach

  • I have a problem with TBL..and that is I've always heard that it's unhealthy to lose too much weight too quickly. These folks are losing 10+ lbs per week. How can that possibly be healthy?

  • I'm losing weight, I'm down 42 pounds and want another 78 off, but there are weeks where I've lost six pounds a week. It's possible, I go to school, play sports, and hang out with friends. It's definitely possible, but I don't recommend losing the weight like they do. Nobody spends 6 hours a day in the gym.

  • It's only unhealthy to lose a tremendous amount of weight in a short period of time if you use starvation tactics. As long as you don't go below the basic caloric intake that your body needs to run all of its processes (1200 cal/day for women 1400 cal/day for men) and the rest of the calorie defecet needed to lose the weight is achieved through exercise then it's ok. That is how the contestants lose that much weight. They exercise like 6 hours a day.

  • However most people don't have that kind of time in their daily lives so it is more accepted to lose anywhere from 1-3 pounds a week and exercise 5-10 hours a week. That is what I've heard from a few people I know in the industry and from Jillian herself on her radio show and in her book.

  • Can't wait I love TBL! With their show many people around the world have been inspired to live healthier. I've chosen to live healthier, I watch what I eat, and I have cut out some key things I see as unhealthy for me. I am proud to say that last January I was a size 16/18, I am now a size 11, working on getting between a 7 and 9.

    Unconcerned Citizen....please explain your comment, what do you mean by fat people should not be allowed to vote?

  • Really? I think just exercising is enough because most people claim to exercise but the exercises they do are really pathetic. They don't really push themselves.
